  The Salty Sea Dog, what a great find.

  We discovered Trebarwith by chance and have returned each year since then, This is by far and away the best cottage we have stayed in. The thought that has gone into this cottage is top notch. A very well equipped and good-spec kitchen with washing machined and dishwasher and no shortage of cookwear and utensils. The shower, which delivered good pressure was very welcome as water pressures in remote locations can be hit and miss. No such problems here! There is nothing to fault it. A great outside space, with the fencing being a good touch to prevent gatherings sitting on the low wall, gives you a good spot to view the sea and let any four legged holiday makers have a bit of a roam. Proximity to the beach, and a great pub are other major plus points. A reserved parking spot adds another positive to what can be a very busy area to get parked up in prime holiday weeks. The owners were friendly in any comms that took place and the welcome pack and information was enough to get you settled but not too much to make you think you were going to have to sit an exam like some cottages do! We were a couple with a small dog and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

  Simply Stunning & Beautiful Magical Apartment.

  Absolutely Amazing Place & Space. So well thought out and spacious & everything was just perfect. The kitchen is stylish and has everything you need to make cooking etc a breeze, The welcome Milk & Biscuits was a nice touch after a long drive. Having a full size table was nice to sit & have meals together. The beds were so comfortable with top quality Linen, Quilts & Pillows & WOW , the quilt & pillows were like sleeping on fluffy clouds," BEST SLEEP EVER!!" even the bunk bed which is of a good single size for an adult was extremely comfortable and cosy. The shower was hot & a good water pressure. Great to have a secure patio for my dog Smudge and myself to sit outside and watch the world go by listening to the stream right outside and birds singing , beautiful sunsets & beach right on your doorstep and your own private car parking space just seconds from the apartment, what's not to like "ABSOLUTELY NOTHING , EXCEPT HAVING TO LEAVE " We will defiantly be back.

  A lovely cottage in an absolutely beautiful and tranquil setting.

  The facilities in Millers House are in keeping with the character of the building, not pristine but that makes the cottage very homely and welcoming, both myself and my daughter felt settled immediately and had a wonderful stay. Mr Evans, the owner is most friendly and helpful and a very nice host. Finding a criticism is really difficult. The only thing is, and this is such a small thing, the cooking facilities were all there and in great order but I was a little surprised there were no condiments like salt, pepper, cooking oil etc (you wouldnt think to bring it with you). It wasn't an issue as we had to go shopping for the fresh food we couldn't bring, so we simply bought that too. We left it at the property as a gift to the next occupants. As I say, it's such a small thing so it doesn't detract from our experience at all, it's such a lovely place I'm almost embarrassed to mention it. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay, I should have booked 2 weeks at least.

  We had a great stay at Miller’s House.

  This was our second time staying at this location and both times have been superb. The house was lovely and warm (in February), was immaculately clean, had everything we needed, comfy beds, great shower, decent WiFi, parking just outside, plenty of utensils in the kitchen, lots of sitting space. It’s worth asking or learning about the history of this place that is believed to date from the 18th century. The place still has character that fits that. I really encourage anyone staying to also explore the grounds as it is really set in a stunning valley with a river running through. The place is gated so you have your own private part of this valley and can leave to walk further up it through the stunning back garden. This place isn’t just about the house. Mr Evans is very hospitable and will help you with request or queries. Will definitely be back again.

  As soon as we arrived Robin made us feel very welcome.

  The cottage was clean and spacious and all 3 of us have really enjoyed our stay at Miller’s House. We brought with us items like hand soap, loo rolls and washing up liquid but these were all provided. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you should need. The beds were really comfortable and there was plenty of storage for clothes etc.. I checked before we packed that we could use a BBQ as I couldn’t see any mention in the blurb or comments. Robin kindly provided heat resistant bricks for us to place on the grass, under the BBQ, so we were very happy as we love to cook outside whilst on holiday. The cottages are set in woodland so it is very peaceful and with the sound of birds and the stream running by, it is just what you need to aid relaxation. If we were to come back to this area in the future, I would always look to stay here.
