  Just arrived home from a very pleasant stay in 'The Lamb Shack' it was everything i expected and more.

  Was not so lucky on the weather side of things therefore it was even more important that the accomodation was comfortable and it was, so cosy and snug and clean with everything well provided. A total peace haven. It is well equiped wi-fi included. Vanessa, family and freinds made the stay even more enjoyable. Vanessa was very welcoming and a perfect host. I would highly recommend The Lamb Shack to anyone. I will be visiting again in the future for sure. I enjoyed it all even the local old world pub a short walk away in the local village 10 minutes walk away. The locals are so freindly and welcoming The surrounding scenery and animals were delightful with 2 horses, 4 pet sheep and two amazing alpaca,s. Oh yes we had an unexpected arrival a new born lamb who is now my namesake ( smile ) Perfect place to enjoy a peacful vacation and lots of local resteraunts and places of interest. 6 STAR ☆☆☆☆☆

  This gorgeous cottage in a lovely quiet and peaceful location, was the perfect gateway. We were welcomed by the owners and given lots of fabulous little treats: welshcakes, eggs, milk, orange juice and loved the chocolate orange and ciders! Excellent space behind the property to safely park our car. Lovely, well kept garden that our dog enjoyed roaming around in. Unfortunately our dog is reactive and there were gaps in the gate making it less enclosed than we had hoped, but as we were surrounded by gorgeous landscapes there was no busy road to worry about! Be aware tall people, you will bang your head on the low ceilings occasionally! 10/10. Would definitely recommend this beautiful place.

  Cleanliness was very poor , cobwebs on lighting fixtures and in corners also toilet had not been cleaned.

  Sealant around shower tray looks like it needs to be replaced. Slight tear in bed quilt cover. WiFi took a while to set up but when connected speed wasn’t very good so used own mobile data. Catch on outside gate hard to close also woodpecker sign on gate cracked. Outside storage shed hinges broken and not secured so was moving around during high winds. Seal in washing machine requires cleaning. Stain on one of the single beds (didn’t bother us as we didn’t need to use those beds) Water stains on flip top bathroom bin also papers left inside. But otherwise the stay was lovely we think just think the cleaners need to take more time when cleaning or possibly new cleaners.

  Lovely cottage which was very clean and welcoming and really well designed and decorated with lots of lovely quirky features. The garden was great with comfortable chairs. Unfortunately the garden was disappointingly not secure as advertised and although bound by walls and a gate, one side the wall was very low so easy for a dog to leap over so had to keep one of our dogs on a long line. A local folder of information would add to the experience of staying here with info on local walks on footpaths. The ones we tried were overgrown and not maintained by local farmers. The folder in the cottage seemed to centre on Abersoch, although useful it was not local to the immediate area.

  I'll be honest.

  I didn't see the reviews until after I'd booked. Some of them were rather unfavourable and I was concerned as we were taking my elderly parents for a much needed break. I was thrilled to discover that the lodge is absolutely beautiful. Immaculate and lovely furnishings. Clean crisp bedding and lovely clean kitchen and shower rooms. The decking a lovely place to sit and gets the sun all day. Very secure aswell, if you have children or a dog. Yes the decking furnature is a little tired and worn. Didn't bother us at all but I think it would need replacing for next season. The site itself is immaculate too. Very quiet. We had a lovely time and will definitely return.
