  Beautiful location and accommodation, in absolutely pristine condition.

  Would recommend adding curtains at least to the outer door as although it is very secluded, it did leave us feeling a little uneasy/exposed. Only other things to mention is the water not being very hot and we were disappointed not to be allowed to use a fire pit despite their being no mention of it in the details. So far that sounds a bit negative, but those 3 things mentioned are the only small blemishes on what is an absolutely fantastic place for some peace, quiet and relaxation. Although "in the middle of nowhere", it is close enough to towns like Ludlow, Telford and Shrewsbury and there is so much to see and do - and you are given all the information you could need and more in the documentation provided in the accommodation. The hot tub is bliss, the bed is pure comfort and the 42" smart TV means you have all you could want. Thank you - we got just what we needed from your little piece of the world and have already recommended and passed on details to a few family and friends. We WIL be back! :-D

  A lovely stay.

  The pod was beautiful. Surroundings were beautiful. Lots of information about how things worked which was really helpful. Suprise goodies left for us which was very appreciated. A very well appointed place. Shower is spacious and lots of hot water. Hot tub is private and well maintained. If you are visiting, remember to take handwash and some spray or wipes to clean after cooking etc as these are not provided. The fridge was humming which I just mention as it might need to be looked at, it was quite annoying. But I'm sure it's easily fixed. Only downside is the bed. It's an ottoman one with storage. Great idea, but it did not feel at all secure and sturdy for two plus size visitors. We were scared we would break it. Thank you for a lovely stay. The attention to detail and the way the pods are maintained and looked after was very appreciated.

  We spent 4 wonderful nights here and loved every minute!

  Such a gorgeous spot and perfect if you’re after a relaxing getaway! Everything was incredible and honestly exceeded our expectations. The pod is ideal and has everything you might need during your stay. Before we came I did read some other reviews mentioning how they wish there were blinds so I actually bought a portable black out sheet with suction cup attachments from Amazon that we would put up at night before settling down for bed. Super easy to put up and has no impact on the view once you’re awake/up for the day. Would definitely recommend doing this to others if a little extra privacy and maybe not wanting it super bright in the mornings! We’ve already said how much we would love to come back - thank you for a perfect getaway!

  Myself & my partner spent the most amazing long weekend at Stapeley Pod.

  It was clean, super cosy and had everything we needed for a relaxing break away from our usual busy lives. The Hot tub was out of this world, relaxing under the stars and in the snow at night and watching the sunrise in the morning - Just perfect! Angie & Stuart were super helpful with a great information/welcome pack and recommendation on where to go for some Christmas shopping! The added Prosecco, biscuits & milk when we arrived was very well received and so appreciated. We went for a 5 mile walk along the hills and countryside behind the pod with the most breathtaking views we have ever seen. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend this beautiful place enough. What an absolute hidden gem in the stunning Shropshire hills

  We had a wonderful time at our very own hobbit pod.

  When we arrived everything was spotless. The chocolate brownies ,milk, coffee, tea bags, and of course the prosecco We used the hot many times relaxing sipping prosecco all this was done in private. The owner Angela was so friendly she came around every morning to check hot tub and ask if she could do anything or get us anything.and have a chat We took our 1 year old son with us and again Angela supplied us with a cot and a high chair at no extra cost. We will definitely come back maybe later in the year but definitely coming back to the pod next summer l will bring my halogen oven as there is no oven .the cooker was fine and a very good microwave but personal preference Only Kind regards John and Sarah
