This farmhouse is gorgeous! made us feel very welcome. All the bedrooms have generous ensuites. The house has been tastefully decorated. The kitchen is a delight. We loved all the options for lights within the property which set the scene for cosy evenings or brighter for games nights. There is plenty to do for all ages, as there is outdoor equipment and a games barn. The hot tub was a welcome relaxation after a long day sightseeing. The outside table and chairs were a sun trap for evening drinks before dinner. Pinky and Perky (sheep, not pigs), enjoyed being fed by us, and the beautiful sheep dog became our best friend! The farmhouse is situated near the Cornwall border, so trips to Bude and St Ives were a must, as well as the north Devon towns/villages eg Barnstaple and Clovelly to name just two. We can't wait to book a return visit!

Lovely, spacious house with good sized bedrooms & bathrooms split across the two floors and a large parking area. The kitchen is very modern and well equipped, with plenty of dining space and with an additional outdoor dining area with lovely country scenery. Sunset views in particular can be spectacular! Fantastic location a few minutes from beautiful Port Isaac, which has a Co-op supermarket, a great pub and various dining options. Perfect location for long coastal walks (or short drives) to Tintagel, Polzeath, or many other stunning spots. Some great farmshops nearby, such as Trevathan, with a lovely cafe & shop, as well as offering excellent activities for the kids. The host, is very responsive and helpful, as well as knowledgeable about the area. Hope to return here again in the future.

The property in its self was very nice. Access into the property is ok if your an experienced mountain climber, very steep flight of stairs. Which is not a welcoming sight or something to look forward to, leaving, returning to the property if you are in any form disabled, older, infirmed, unfit. Sadly this is not outlined in the promotion of this property. Misleading to say the least. Picture make it look like its on the flat. Due to this, as we are all late 60's early 70's we found ourselves staying in. We would not recommend this property unless they have had SAS training. Therefore we think it was not value for money and would not recommend. This will be the review we will be sharing. Leaking radiator in top bedroom.

The house is in a good position, around a 20 minute walk to the harbour for pubs and restaurants. Parking is available on the road but as its August, difficult to find a space. House is very nice and comfortable, with everything you need. The garden is a bit small and the steps are a little precarious! It was nice to be provided with dishwasher tablets, washing powder, a toilet roll in every toilet and supplies to make a hot drink on arrival, including milk. Added bonus of a Lidl 2 minutes away. I would recommend booking for evening meals as we found we could not get into some of the recommended restaurants.

We have been visiting Port Isaac for over 15 years and have always been desperate to stay in Northcliffe but it was always privately owned. Iâm so grateful to have the opportunity to stay in this most amazing house and wish it was mine !!!!! The owners have thought of everything and the standard of the interior is beautiful.
