  I would just like to say how nice River View was. The apartment had everything you need for a good holiday. It was well situated for touring around Suffolk - we stayed at Peasenhall last year but still found lots more places to visit this year including Beth Chattos garden in Essex. The apartment was very stylishly decorated and furnished and had fabulous views down to the estuary and marshes. We were lucky that the weather was so nice while we were there and enjoyed being able to sit in the front garden and relax with a book and a drink in the sunshine. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and we much appreciated the fact that we were able to access the apartment when we arrived after our overnight drive down from Cumbria. We would definitely recommend River View to our friends.

  Without doubt this is one of the best cottage holidays we have had. Bunkers Hill Farm was just the most delightful place to stay. The Stables cottage where we stayed was beautiful. There is a lovely seating area outside. There are so many walks from the door on numerous paths and Bridleways and the grounds of the farm are extensive. There are also yurts, shepherds huts and a cl campsite . The peacefulness and wildlife (so many hares) are extraordinary. A delightful 25 minute walk across the fields to a pub is a bonus. A delightful area and close to so many lovely villages and coastal towns. Bunkers hill farm is at the top of our list of places to return. A huge thank you .

  We absolutely loved staying at Miller’s Cottage! It was well kept, clean and nicely presented with lots of character. It suited our family of 7 well, giving us plenty of room. Our children especially loved the secret room behind the bookcase! We enjoyed its quiet, peaceful and private location with easy parking and a spacious garden. A nice touch were the pots of flowers around the property, which added to its charm. A 10 minute drive to the nearest shop, with lovely towns and beaches all near enough to drive to. Would recommend staying here if you like a quiet, relaxed break. Would happily visit again!

  Beautiful apartment with stunning view. We enjoyed a lovely long weekend in River View at the start of February. It was beautifully furnished and warm and cosy after days out exploring this area of Suffolk, from Southwold down to Orford. You need a car to eat out in Aldeburgh unless you are up for a half hour walk but you can walk to the neighbouring Hazelwood nature reserve which has a bird hide looking out onto the Alde estuary. RSPB Minsmere is also a short drive away and worth a visit too if you love wildlife. Highly recommend River View as it had everything we needed and was in great condition.

  We had an amazing stay at the Stables which was exceptionally clean and tidy when we arrived. It felt like a home from home. The owners made us feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The welcome pack allowed us to make tea and toast and have a drink in the evening. The Adnams beer was most appreciated! We will definitely be back to The Stables soon. We often viewed the hares running in the field outside the the lounge window. It was nice to have darkness at night which allowed us to see the stars a lot better than at home.
