I have informed the Manager of the property about a few things which needed attending to and some suggestions.
But I can repeat some of them here.. I suggested giving a bit more clarity in the directions to the property, so include the name of the road which leads to the property. I decided to walk up at the end as the road was so steep, as I wasn't sure where the property was, & didn't want to be stuck trying to turn round..! Another suggestion was to leave a dishcloth, especially to wipe up the water which stays behind the kitchen taps, so can effect the wood surface. We were glad we had brought one with us! The floorboards in the bathroom are very creaky, so I asked if this could be adjusted at all.. Also it is much easier to get out of the car space at the back, so I recommended suggesting that rather than at the front. But maybe I made the mistake of reversing in, as I noticed the neighbours had..! The many ornaments are lovely, but we weren't sure whether we could use one of the small jugs on the coffee table.. And they did take up quite a big space. (Just an observation and don't mean to be picky..) It may be good to mention there's a blind in the double bed room, so people don't try to unravel the lovely curtains?.. But there are so many things to thank you for - such as the radio, the compact kitchen diner with all we needed & kindly leaving milk and Welsh cakes. Plus such clear information in the pack left. We had never been up there before so it was a delight, with amazing views!..

The welcome we had was so lovely,we had wine as a welcome gift ,milk etc,it really was home from home. Everything in the place was of high quality . The hosts were just so helpful and theyâve got a gorgeous friendly dog too. My husband suffers with being cold ,and we were there november 2024 and we were as warm as toast. The walks around there are beautiful . Lovely view from kitchen and bedroom and saw deer and a lovely pheasant . I felt the most relaxed Iâve felt in a long time staying here . If youâre reading this and wondering whether to book or not please do it youâll have the most lovely relaxing time. We will definitely be back

The cottage is stylish and comfortable with lovely views across the countryside to St Michael's Mount. A big plus for us was the large field next to the garden where we could walk our dog morning & evening and meant a nice relaxed beginning and end to our days. The journeys to Penzance and St Ives/ Hayle were quick and easy by car. There was a bus but we weren't sure our dog would get on it. A really lovely two-week Autumn break that we would be keen to repeat.

The property is a 15 min flat stroll down a quiet country lane to the village of Burton Pidsea where there are 2 pubs and a well stocked shop with a couple of petrol pumps. There are lots of local walks along footpaths/bridle ways and the coast is a short drive away. We were the first guests at the annexe and the owners were very friendly and happy to recommend local places to visit. We spent a very relaxing week here and would be happy to recommend.

Bowling Green pub 100m away has a good community atmosphere and beer / pasties / basket food on Thurs - Sun (closed other days). Community run shop has good produce within 5 mins walk. Parking is limited but okay if you are happy to walk down to the Main Street and park at far end of village.
