Oakwood Barn was well-equipped, well-located and perfect for our week long family stay. The house has all the amenities anyone could want; in particular we loved having a spacious, sociable kitchen for family meals. The local pub in Carperby was excellent, and a number of local points of interest are a short walk away - Castle Bolton, Aysgarth Falls, etc. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others, particularly those looking for a base for walking or cycling holidays.

We had an amazing few days at Oakwood Barn, it was so comfy and very well-equipped. We loved the boot trays! They were very handy after our muddy walks. We really enjoyed relaxing in front of the log fire in the evenings. Great location, lots to do with a very friendly pub just across the road.
