What our customers say about their holidays

Having read some reviews I was a little concerned about the sofa, but a new one is in place which was extremely comfortable.
The whole apartment was clean, comfortable and in a lovely location . The WiFi was fast with no trouble. We watched Netflix by attaching our laptop to the TV with an HMDI cable which we took with us to the apartment. We did not hear any noise from other apartments even though it was half term. As others have said, if you have mobility issues the walk up and down to the beach might be too much but for us it was a 5 minute stroll through a footpath down to the nearest beach where we swam, rock pooled and ate chips and ice-cream. We walked the coastal path to Tenby and got the bus back. It was a beautiful walk with great views. We went on a boat trip from the harbour to see the seals which was fabulous (£20 ,per person - cash only) . Lots of venues were cash only which came as a surprise to us. The apartment has plenty of hot water, a good sized fridge freezer and views of the sea over the top of other apartments. I couldn't work out how to get the extractor above the hob to work - the owner quickly responded to tell me that it pulls out. The tap in the bath is brilliant but took some time for me to work out - it is like a joy stick controlling the temperature and flow of water. We may well return as we loved the apartment and it's position. Folly's Farm is good if you have children.

The house was very well equipped, so very comfortable and completely beautiful.
And the stunning view from the top floor balcony was a fabulous bonus. My granddaughters loved their meals on the balcony. But the cleanliness of the house is what really made my holiday. Thank you so much to the cleaning staff I didnât need to spend my first day of of our holiday cleaning. And thanks also for the little welcome pack. Most helpful. One thing I would like to ask is that Sykes have a policy of standard consumables. It was lovely to have toiletries, washing powder and washing up liquid etc but because I havenât had them left before I had taken them with us. Iâm sure Iâm not the only one to over- pack on these essential items to find them already there. Maybe Sykes could standardise all properties. Only a suggestion. Anyway we had a lovely stay in a beautiful house in a wonderful location.

We stayed at this cottage during 12-19 July and I can’t find any fault. It was clean and comfortable. All equipments are in excellent working order. I usually bring my own cook’s knives and a frying pan, even mugs and cutlery because many self catering cottages just leave old/cheap ones that never works, but I was happy to use what was there in this cottage - very clean and functional anyone who cook will know the difference. The location is excellent. We enjoyed the coastal walk just outside from the cottage to Tenby, a trip to Heatherton Adventure World for karting and Tree Top (10min drive), and taking a Paddle Boarding course at the marina where you can walk from the cottage, or 3min drive. Weather was kind to us and it was sunny almost everyday

Cannot fault the owner for providing so much when we arrived.
Very surprised to find many things we had carried with us were already provided. Including things such as cheese grater, can opener, pegs, toilet roll, liquid soap and condiments. Plenty of crockery and ample storage space. Instructions for use of equipment and recycling regime, well explained in hand folder, also containing maps of area with visitor information. Parking across the way in rail station carpark but please be aware make sure you have permit and ticket now costing £19 per week. I am a blue badge holder which was displayed, approval of parking permit confirmed and believed I had done everything required only to discover a parking ticket and now left to resolve this issue with company who own car park, not British Rail.

We have stayed in this property a few times in the past 8yrs and although there has been no obvious changes and we noticed its looking a little tired it is still a comfortable apartment.
Its a great location based in Tudor square with a wonderful sea view out the back. The stairway to the flat looks awful but dont let that put you off. It desperately needs a hand rail on the stairs so anyone with mobility issues will need help. We had a little issue with the heating this time but although I had to call them late afternoon on a Sunday the call was answered promptly and someone sent out to fix it immediately, I cant fault that. The apartment was spotless on arrival and although we were left some milk and welsh cakes we would of appreciated toilet roll more but I think this was an over sight. We do stay in some beautiful places in Tenby, as we visit often, and wouldnt hesitate to stay in Gower View again.
