“This is our third visit to Paddock Bungalow in Mundesley on the North Norfolk coast and on each occasion we have enjoyed a lovely holiday. The bungalow is in a tranquil location adjoining a small paddock occupied by two ponies who seemed perfectly at ease with our close proximity. There are lovely views over the fields towards Gimingham and we enjoyed the sunsets on several evenings. Despite the peaceful setting there is a Tesco Express store only a couple of minutes' walk away and the esplanade and village centre are within easy walking distance as well. The bungalow is comfortable and homely and the owners were kind enough to provide a very acceptable bottle of wine as a welcome gift, together with milk in the fridge so that we could enjoy a nice cup of tea on arrival. All in all we would have no hesitation in recommending Paddock Bungalow as an ideal location for a short break or a longer holiday.”

The Cottage was a perfect place to stay to celebrate my wifeâs 60th birthday. It was spacious and beautifully decorated. The welcome pack and a large carton of milk were a nice touch. Family and friends joined us for our stay and were really impressed with the property. The owners have thought of everything to make sure their visitors have a wonderful stay. The cottage is really well located under an archway just off the quayside and is close to shops, cafes and pubs. I was worried parking would be an issue but we parked at Stearmanâs Yard long stay car park just 5 mins walk away at a cost of £8.50 for 24 hours. You can get a weekly ticket if staying longer. I would highly recommend this cottage in the beautiful town of Wells-Next-The-Sea.

We found the bungalow very cosy and is well located for a Tesco Express store and local takeaways. Parking on site was also a nice bonus. Also only a ten minute walk from the beautiful Mundesley coast. Only slight downside was that there was no wifi, and this is not mentioned in the listing. All in all a lovely place to stay and would highly recommend to others.”

We enjoyed using the local butchers, bakers, greengrocers, and fishmongers, as well as two fish and chip takeaways from Mary's and No.1. Local cliff walks, local buses, seal trips, Cley marshes bird reserve and both Cromer and Happisburgh lighthouses. Also recommend Whitewater Cafe on the corner, and Rocket House cafe. And of course The Pier! Fabulous holiday.
