What our customers say about their holidays
Joanne - Verified booking
A great space with off road parking.
Comfortable beds, super wood burner but hardly any wood available. Comfortable seating in the lounge, fabulous kitchen with everything you could want. Shower floor very slippy when wet, had to buy a bath mat for safety. The hoover was too full and blocked with ginger dog hair and the bag had split. We tried to change the bag couldn't find any new ones. Garden, front and back, very disheveled and not at all like the photograps online. One bed upstairs not changed/made. Very dusty in lounge, there were f Finger prints on the ledge over the stairs and under stairs cupboard. All indoor plants dry and virtually dead. We feel that if the owners are paying people to maintain this property in their absence, they should be aware of the shortcomings . Over the years we have stayed in many self catering cottages throughout Britain and have never had to clean up/water plants before the holiday started. We expected a higher standard for the price we paid.

This holiday cottage is just perfect, the location, facilities (including an enclosed garden), everything!
We've already booked again for next year! Our little dog just loves it here as well! The views are beautiful over looking countryside and the sea and everything you need is at the property. On arrival there was milk, cheese, cake and fresh flowers, which was a lovely surprise! Everything is so close by, coastal walks, a variety of dog friendly beaches and pubs, pet supplies, shops etc, perfect place to explore the many beauties of Anglesey. There is a very large grassy common literally on the doorstep, which has been ideal for our dog to run and fetch her ball, with the added bonus of stunning views over the sea... especially at dawn and dusk. The owner Brenda is very friendly, she kindly messaged on the day of our arrival just to check all was ok and is very accommodating. Looking forward to the rest of our week and returning again next year. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The house was very comfortable with everything you might need and the upstairs lounge had stunning views of the countryside and sea including red squirrels!
However, the twin bedroom reeks of musty damp, so much so that even unworn clothes have had to be washed upon returning home as the musty smell permeated from them. We can only assume this will get worse now with the weather turning (we were able to keep the window open when in the house) so this needs to be addressed ASAP. The wall outside in front of the kitchen doors is very low, only a couple of feet high in places, with a significant drop behind under brambles so not suitable for younger children or a young dog like ours. We werenât able to leave the patio doors open for fear that our dog might jump up and fall. Overall itâs a lovely, well kitted out property in a beautiful and quiet area but the twin bedroom damp problem needs resolving and the height of the wall needs to be highlighted in the listing so that customers may make an informed decision.

This beautiful converted chapel was perfect for our family of 5 to stay in.
Plenty of bedroom space for our boys to take themselves off to when they needed to! The beds were VERY comfortable! Everything available for you in the kitchen and plenty of it so no worries about not enough cutlery etc. it has a very homely feeling about it and the extra touches were an added bonus. I loved the little welcome gift of wine and biscuits and dog treats. I also felt that the little handmade notes were a really lovely touch. Appreciated all the extra information that was available from the map in the entrance. Our only little issue was with the shower, no pressure so quite tricky to get everyone showered and sorted, but hey, it wasn't the end of the world and it absolutely would not put me off staying here again. The view from the kitchen window more than made up for it!!

We have just spent our first ever holiday in Anglesey and it was wonderful!
What a beautiful island and it was complimented by a beautiful cottage! It was spotless, cosy and we just loved everything about it. Whenever we go away we do like a nice cup for a morning brew and the ones in the cottage were all different and wonderful to drink from.. might sound a bit daft to some but a cuppa always tastes better in a nice mug. The view from the living room was amazing, and from the double bedroom too! I never closed the curtains all week. We never had to drive far to find a lovely beach for a walk with our Cockapoo, we will definitely be back to the beautiful Isle of Anglesey and would recommend the cottage 100% â¤ï¸ Thank you for the lovely goodies you left and for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage Janet Stephen and Hollie
