  The House is really lovely and in an excellent location in the heart of Tenby's Old Town and a stone's throw from the 2 beaches. The town is full of interesting coffee shops, restaurants and shops. It's a shame we weren't there at a time of year when we could take advantage of the wetsuits and the wet room available! The facilities in the house are great. Smart TVs worked well and the Wi-fi was very good. Loved the bay windows in the upstairs rooms. You will end up going up and down an awful lot of stairs during your stay! Spoke to the owner before arrival and they were extremely helpful and pleasant. Not being able to park immediately outside for any length of time isn't ideal, but that's well communicated before arrival. Using the dedicated parking places in a nearby car park is not a problem and it's only a short walk through the old town to get there. You can park outside long enough to load and unload. Only improvement I could think of would be clearer instructions over what to do with the rubbish. It wasn't clear exactly what could be recycled or what to do with food waste; the instructions seemed to say that the sink waste disposal should be used for absolutely all food waste, but that feels wrong to me as someone not used to using these - I wonder if that just meant make sure that any waste which does go into the sink does go through the waste disposal unit.

  Wow that was my first reaction and after staying here Wow just didn't give it justice; neither did amazing and wonderful. High House is such a fab place to stay. The house is decorated to an extremely high standard and the attention to detail is absolutely superb. Beds are fabulous, decor is superb and the location is fantastic! I would like to thank Rural Retreats once again for your superb and extremely professional service and would like to add an extra special thank you to the owner who is just fantastic! My family and I spent a very special weekend here to celebrate my Dad's 80th Birthday and we couldn't have wished for better. Everyone had such a wonderful weekend. I have travelled extensively around the world and have been lucky enough to stay in some remarkable places: but High House is one of the most lovely and beautiful places I have ever stayed (they could give any 5 star hotel a real run for their money). Everyone commented that if they won the lottery this is one place they would want to buy! Thank you so so much for making my Dad's 80th Birthday weekend so special! The house was so wonderful that I didn't want to share it but felt that was unfair as it's such a special place. If you're reading this, book it, you will not be disappointed; this place is a complete gem!

  I wanted to offer some feedback after our stay at High House Tenby over Christmas. Overall,the house worked brilliantly for us.......fantastic location. A couple of things to mention..... I had rung your company and the house keeper in advance and asked for the Two single beds on the top floor to be made up into a king....this hadent happened,and also we had arranged our sleeping plan according to your info and photos on the webpage for the property........it's not set out correctly.....the bedrooms aren't on the floors you lead people to believe........please check this for future residents,as it does impact on how one configures ones family. Thirdly......there was a lot of dust around the house......we were able to wipe it and leave marks with our fingers particularly on the light fitting in the dining room and the shelved area in the dining room. The oven door was smeared and needed a final polish ,there was also food residue on some of the kitchen unit handles.......and there were areas on the top floor where paint was missing.....
