  This is a fabulous cottage. So cosy and comfortable and extremely well equipped. It has been decorated and furnished with a lot of thought and care. This was a cottage for 2 & near to Bamburgh, which is where we wanted to stay. Your website is one of the best. The 3D property images are fantastic in helping choice and suitability when booking. This cottage has been equipped with everything you could possibly want or need! The welcome basket was very welcome indeed. It had just the right items to provide a breakfast and some treats to start the holiday. Thankyou. We could not fault this cottage & therefore it is hard to say exactly what we liked best! It was tasteful decorated and extremely well furnished which is something we don’t want to compromise on when we go away. The heating worked well so it was always cosy and warm. This is the first time we have booked with Coquet Cottages and we have been very impressed with how we have been looked after from start to finish. From researching our holiday on the website, to receiving our joining instructions and a very nice courtesy call a week beforehand – everything has been clear and concise and very professional.   The Bolthole couldn't be in a more convenient position in Bamburgh. Wydenwell's (?) is almost next door, and importantly they do a very good flat white! Excellent butcher and general store, but no cashpoint in town. You will need to need to bring essentials if you plan to stay local. The beach is 5 minutes away. A beautiful, wide, sandy beach with some interesting rock formations, if you like that kind of thing. The house itself is very comfortable, and well-equipped. We had a small maintenance problem on the first day, which was quickly fixed. Bamburgh is a friendly place, and not too busy when we were there at the end of April. Perfect relaxing holiday. Enjoyed a takeaway from the Lobster Pot. Good menu and delicious. Will definitely be back. Thank you

  Bolthole is a 2 bed (both en-suite) in the Crewe courtyard right smack bang in the middle of Bamburgh village. It’s gated and secure. There are three areas for sitting out, although was abit cold whilst we visited. It was just perfect for us. Its quiet. It’s immaculately clean. owners were around whilst we were there and it was great to hear how the cottages came into being, having once been part of the rear outbuilding at The Lord Crew Arms. We walked a lot most days. We ate at the ocean club and Lewis's fish and chips both in Seahouses. Excellent. The shops were all closed up as it was first week in January accept for Butchers and this is a must to visit and get yourself some Bamburgh Bangers - delicious.

  The property is immaculate noexpense spared.

  And so much space. Just a little point, there was no leaflet explaining the appliances or how to operate the heating although when we had juggled about with it and got it working was extremely efficient. Plenty of cupboard space in the kitchen and a wonderfully large fridge and freezer.The 2 walk in showers were lovely and the bed was large and very comfortable. In the kitchen the owners had even provided some washing up gloves but a dish drainer would have been nice as it was always a bit messy to have drain the dishes directly on the unit. All in all I was very impressed with everything. But no visitors book to make our comments! I would certainly recommend this property .

  This cottage was absolutely sublime, couldn’t fault one bit of it, so tastefully furnished and everything we could want. A real joy to stay in it. We stayed with you once before at Throstle cottagein Lesbury and that was just wonderful, and this break in Curlew Cottage was just as wonderful, an absolutely gorgeous cottage, what more can I say, it was just wow!! We will certainly be recommending the company to our friends, that’s for sure, I just wish there was a company in Scotland that did as high class quality accommodation as you do, and next time we are in the Northumberland area we wont hesitate but to book with Coquet Cottages, so thank you.
