Apartment was lovely and spotless.
Looked brand new. Nice décor and finishings. Would have been nice to see some artwork or items displayed in the apartment that reflected the history of the building and Keith itself. The only criticisms are that the downstairs shower room is missing a bin (the upstairs has one). Soap bars or liquid soap in the shower rooms would have been a nice touch. The beds were a bit too soft for my liking. The bedding was synthetic, which made you feel a bit sweaty. Cotton sheets would have been better. The instructions for the microwave were for the wrong make, but we figured it out.

The house is functional but not very cosy.
It probably needs a bit more attention to make it more comfortable. A dishwasher would be nice. We had to call about getting beds made up and more towels due to a mix up but it was fixed promptly. The instructions to the property only really made sense once you had driven it once. Some warning about the very narrow streets would have been lovely too. Lastly, the listing didn't make it clear that this was open plan so managing 4 people who had different sleep hours was a challenge. Its a lovely set up and has alot of potential especially being located close to the distilleries.

We had a lovely stay in the court room at The Institute Executive Apartments.
Bed were good and the flat was fully equipped. Two slightly negative impressions we had: - the bedroom got really warm over night as the boiler is installed inside the cabinet in that room and when we closed the bedroom door during night it heated up - the bathroom in the 2nd floor with the tube is mainly only useable as toilet. The sink is so small, it's even hard to wash the hands there and the tube looks nice on the podest, but I was afraid to use it because I might have slipped off the podes when I would have jumped out of it with wet feets.

Don't expect to get any sleep on a Friday or Saturday night.
The noise from the street (drunks) is horrific which goes on and on thanks to the kebab shop next door. The single glazing in the bedrooms only makes it worse. Friday my wife and I were up till 1:30, Saturday is was 3am! Extremely disappointing for an apartment that is very nice, comfy and clean. To improve double glaze the windows, complain about your neighbors excessive business hours, replace the sofa (almost broke my tail bone after sitting between two seat cushions) and ideally install a dishwasher.
