  Good location for exploring local area.

  Cottage in need of some upkeep/maintenance repairs (front door sticking and creaking, toilet seat poorly fitted, black out blind in twin bedroom missing). Personal thoughts on kitchen rather than specific issue - poorly designed (e.g. dishwasher on opposite side of peninsula to the rest of the kitchen). Unable to seat a family of four in the cottage - only 3 seat spaces (4th person sat with nil leg space against the cupboards). Noisy in double bedroom from road and also neighbours in adjoining house (lived in) dogs from this property noisy in the yard backing onto whole rear of the cottage. Cottage was warm -heated floor is a great addition. Quick response when contacted regarding issue with the wi-if. Very disappointed in the lack of information folder which I was advised was being updated. Bits of Information provided (which was minimal) was spread out in a few various signs in different places . Would be much more helpful if in one location and some local area info would be really helpful. Land around the cottage owned by caravan park and more caravans arriving for storage on our last couple of days - it’s a shame as I feel it makes the cottages feel a bit more compressed and surrounded by caravans whereas currently it is pleasant sat out front and you do feel you have done space and privacy currently.

  What a superb holiday cottage this was!

  It was ultra clean and tidy and had everything on hand that you could possibly want while on holiday including off-road parking. The cottage afforded high quality furnishings, bed linen, towels etc which was very pleasing and a real bonus. The hosts, Luned & Mike, who lived close by, were lovely, helpful but unintrusive. A couple of days before we travelled we were given simple instructions on how to obtain house keys. On arrival we found fresh flowers and a card waiting to greet us together with tea, coffee, sugar, milk in fridge and a delicious locally baked Bara Brith fruit cake! The location was ideal for touring the surrounding area, was set in quiet countryside with a stream running through the garden and continuing across to the meadow opposite. The cottage had its own private garden which was great to sit in at the end of a busy day. There was a petrol station and a supermarket within a couple of miles and so all was convenient. I would have no concerns about highly recommending this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, countryside setting but with everything on hand for exploring.   The cottage was far beyond expectations.

  ....so many extra touches......we were greeted with flowers ...and yummy Bara brith ....Welsh cake."luned.and Mike went the extra mile .....we were happy to see them. ...and they were completely unobtrusive. .....luned came round and bought my son and easter Egg. ..as we stayed up to good Friday. ....it was so peaceful...and beautiful surroundings. ...of sheep and greenery. .....Dolgellau is 3 miles away.....we had the pleasure of sky TV and also that had the movie channels.....the WiFi was great for my son ....a teenager ...that is never off his I pad. .this is the 4th cottage we have stayed in with sakes the past 2 years. ..and this one is the best . location. And very home from home......if you love snowdonia ....and fabulous walks ...scenery. top class accommodation. .....book this. ...you won't be disappointed. ..beryl Powell. ....and family birmingham

  Very comfortable light cottage with fresh, modern, and tasteful furnishings and decor.

  All possible needs are met with a range of kitchen ware, cosy sitting room, comfortable beds etc. The hosts kindly provided a variety of delicious Welsh treats and beautiful flowers to welcome us after a long drive. They have really gone the extra mile to ensure their guests are happy and comfortable and while we felt they were there if we needed any help, at the same time they were completely non-intrusive. This is a very conveniently-located cottage near many outstanding walks and of course provides the extra bonus of being within easy reach of Dolgellau for shopping. Very peaceful and quiet with soft pretty views. We have visited this area of Snowdonia possibly a dozen times but this was for sure one of the very best cottages we have stayed. Would definitely recommend.

  Amazing cottage with a beautifully maintained garden and lovely hosts.

  Little touches such as Welsh goodies on arrival were a lovely touch. Mike was also very helpful with recommending places to go and local walks. Nothing would be too much trouble if you needed anything. There is a shed in the garden that you can store bikes etc securely. The outlook is beautiful with a little stream and fields across the road. I do think it’s worth noting for families that there is no designated path outside the property and the road can be quite busy. It’s also worth noting that although the pub is 2 miles and shop 3 miles away, these cannot be reached by walking. A lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful area with stunning scenery.
