What our customers say about their holidays

Lovely cottage with pretty much all you need for a holiday.
The kitchen is well stocked with crockery, cutlery, utensils and cooking equipment. A compact dishwasher was very useful. The mezzanine sleeping area is spacious with good lighting and the bed us comfortable. There is not sufficient storage for clothing and there is ample room for a chest of drawers, which would be very beneficial. We resorted to storing clothing on the floor of the cupboard under the stairs. The sofa is not particularly comfortable; the leather cushion covers are slippery and not supportive. The bathroom is large and features a large walk in shower with a good flow from the head. The free-standing bath is good looking but impractical as it is effectively too long and the ends far too narrow to sit or lie comfortably in. The WiFi was nonexistent during our stay and two calls to the Agent failed to resolve that. Mobile reception was poor, making it impractical to rely upon in the absence of WiFi.

We stayed at Twosome in Jan 2025, it was very pretty and just like the photos on the website.
The owner greeted us when we arrived and had made sure the cottage was nicely warmed for us when we arrived. He was friendly and very informative about places to go in the area. Lovely bottle of fresh apple juice and jug of milk was left out for us which we thought was a nice touch. The central heating is very good so no need for us to use the wood burner. However just a couple of things to be aware of ..as the property is dog friendly we had a very muddy dog most days after walking around the adjoining fields so by the 3rd day we had several wet muddy towels draped everywhere. We thought it might have been beneficial to replace the dishwasher what we didnt think was necessary with a washing machine. Plus a mop and bucket would have been handy to clean the floors as they are painted white.Cushions on sofa and arm chair could do with a freshen up but other than that a beautiful little country retreat.

This is an Idyllic & peaceful countryside lodge in a beautiful meadow setting. Ideal for walks and total relaxation. If you want to get away from hustle and bustle this is just the place. The nearest pub/ restaurant is 5 mins away and nearest beach is 20 mins by car. The accommodation was full of character with wooden beams and high quality features making the stay comfortable and special with everything you need when staying away from home. Andrea was very welcoming. The complementary basket was much appreciated. The outdoor seating added extra space to the accommodation and as We had taken our little dog Rosie she did enjoy the freedom to roam around the area. We highly recommend this accommodation and will be returning next year.

Lovely, peaceful and comfortable place to stay in tranquil surroundings.
Ideally located for cycling (on the national cycling network), both locally and to the coast. Short and easy drive from places of interest, such as Sutton Hoo and Orford Ness. Very well-equipped cottage and secluded yard/patio to sit out. Adjacent lawns and beautiful mature trees to provide shade. Felt safe to park a bicycle outdoors even when not at the cottage. Hit a heatwave so the bedroom loft was very warm but a fan was provided and it was safe and quiet to have windows open. Only slight downside was a noisier-than-usual fridge (the cottage is open plan so could hear it overnight) but think there might be an issue with the fridge door closure so will report this separately.
