  I have informed the Manager of the property about a few things which needed attending to and some suggestions.

  But I can repeat some of them here.. I suggested giving a bit more clarity in the directions to the property, so include the name of the road which leads to the property. I decided to walk up at the end as the road was so steep, as I wasn't sure where the property was, & didn't want to be stuck trying to turn round..! Another suggestion was to leave a dishcloth, especially to wipe up the water which stays behind the kitchen taps, so can effect the wood surface. We were glad we had brought one with us! The floorboards in the bathroom are very creaky, so I asked if this could be adjusted at all.. Also it is much easier to get out of the car space at the back, so I recommended suggesting that rather than at the front. But maybe I made the mistake of reversing in, as I noticed the neighbours had..! The many ornaments are lovely, but we weren't sure whether we could use one of the small jugs on the coffee table.. And they did take up quite a big space. (Just an observation and don't mean to be picky..) It may be good to mention there's a blind in the double bed room, so people don't try to unravel the lovely curtains?.. But there are so many things to thank you for - such as the radio, the compact kitchen diner with all we needed & kindly leaving milk and Welsh cakes. Plus such clear information in the pack left. We had never been up there before so it was a delight, with amazing views!..

  Beside the Sea - in town was a comfortable and warm flat ( once we sussed out the heating!

  ). There was a very comprehensive file giving instructions for all the appliances, which was very helpful, especially for a technophobe like myself! The exterior of the building, and the approach to the flat up 35 stairs could be a bit offputting , but my sister and I had our 71st birthday there, and we managed the stairs with no problems. Inside the flat has everything one needs. Shops are very nearby, and the front is only a short walk away. The bed is the biggest I have ever slept in! The only disadvantage was not being able to park near the flat. We were able to unload and load the car, but are too mean to pay parking fees, but were able to leave it safely on the front about a mile away, where one does not need to pay. If you don't mind paying you can park at the station, about 100 yards away. I understand there may be a special weekly rate. Michelle called in our first night to make sure everything was okay. She was very friendly and helpful: she even left us a birthday card, which was very kind and thoughtful. I would certainly stay there again.

  Excellent service from start to finish. Carreg Cottage was an outstanding property, incredibly well thought through with everything that you could need supplied. Beautifully clean, light and airy with very comfy beds, well appointed accommodation and a lovely log burner for those chillier evenings. Perfectly placed for walking in the stunning Snowdonia mountain ranges with Moel Siabod on the doorstep for more challenging walks and plenty of easier walks directly from the door. The Plas-Y-Brenin outdoor centre just 5 minutes down the road offers great activities, a bar and restaurant and interesting talks from local guides as does the excellent Moel Siabod cafe which is just 5 minutes in the other direction. The cottage was excellent value for money - we would have no hesitation in returning in the future and would recommend both the property and Wales Cottage Holidays to friends and family as the whole holiday was well organised, painless and problem free.

  We loved this quirky holiday home with its boutique style furnishings.

  Two giant sofas (one each!) and a super king bed ensured comfort day and night in a warm and inviting apartment. The kitchen is well equipped and we found the little breakfast bar handy but also used the dining table - for food and my holiday crafting. The plentiful hot water and roomy shower were very welcome after days out. We usually stay out in the country but really enjoyed the convenience of being in a small town with shops and cafes outside the door. Llanrwst provided lovely river walks and is within half to three quarters of an hour of many of North Wales' most popular attractions eg Bodnant gardens, Plas Mawr and Conway castle and walks in Eryri or around the coast . We found the (partly spiral) stairs a bit daunting on day one with our baggage but it was not otherwise a problem and it proved good practice for climbing castle towers!

  Great location, perfect for a base to further explore Llandudno and the surrounding areas.

  As a family with two young kids we appreciated a variety of books and games that were provided - origami and chess in particular kept our girls occupied in the evenings/ early mornings. The flat was clean and well maintained. Basic commodities were provided. The owner was very kind and checked on us ensuring we had what we needed and offered suggestions of good places to eat out etc. The property is within a short walk to all main attractions of Llandudno and if you need anything from the shop the big shopping area is just 5 mins walk away. Coming from London, we were pleasantly surprised how dog friendly Llandudno was - our dog also enjoyed his stay. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the flat that toys, bowls, towels and snacks were provided for our dog. Great stay, would recommend and will definitely be back again.
