What our customers say about their holidays
Hilary - Verified booking
We have just returned from an amazing week staying in this superb house.
It was one of the very best houses we have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in several over the years. It was perfect for our 3-generational family holiday - with 8 of us ranging from 8 - 78! When we arrived we discovered not only milk in the fridge but also a tin of home-made cream cakes for each of us, which was such a lovely welcome. We met Dilys who made sure we were comfortable and that we could contact her if we needed to, which was helpful. The house was immaculately clean, the beds were really comfortable and the kitchen-diner and lounge were perfect, with a very well equipped kitchen, large fridge-freezer, lovely long wooden dining table and 3 very comfortable settees in the lounge. The addition of a pool table in the converted garage and a 'snug' was much appreciated. The outside area had two sets of tables and chairs, which were ideal for chilling out in the lovely warm weather. We really can't praise the house highly enough and are very grateful for Dilys' thoughtfulness in ensuring the house was really well equipped and arranged, so that guests can enjoy a really relaxing holiday. We loved the location too - all we could see were country lanes, fields, sheep and cows, which was ideal for us urban dwellers! There were lovely, easy walks from the house, which the children enjoyed as well as the adults and Llanwrst is within very easy reach. We found a great cafe on the sqare, a super deli selling delicious Welsh cheese, beer etc. and playing fields near the river. The house is ideally situated for trips out to Conway, Llandudno, etc etc too. We all had a wonderful holiday and would love to go back to this super house. Thank you, Dilys!

A lovely well equipped ground floor apartment, in a great location, but so many issues spoiled our week.
The bedding and towels were great, bed comfortable but the overpowering stench of dog was truly dreadful. I even bought febreze to use on the sofa and carpets, to no avail. Someone had clearly allowed their dog access to the sofa and bedroom. It desperately needs a paint job, with marks everywhere and stains on the wall in the bedroom and on the ceiling and walls in the lounge presumably from the flat above. There were cobwebs everywhere. The bathroom fan wasnât working and the shower tray was cracked, causing a dangerous sag in the centre. The bins outside on the drive were overflowing when we arrived. During the week we saw various people around, who in fact were maintenance for the owners. We learned that they were aware of all the issues and we were told they were going to be dealt with when the apartment was not booked. The dreadful smell was mentioned by the previous review, so they clearly know about that too. In the meantime people are clearly expected to put up with it. Itâs a great shame, as the apartment should, and could, be lovely. Itâs a great shame that people are booking and paying in good faith and also that notices in the property regarding the rules about pets are not adhered to!!

The house is in a lovely position with views over the golf course and hills and the sea from the front upstairs windows.
it is a very spacious home however there were some difficulties. the quilts on the beds are far too thick, impossible to use in the summer months, although the beds are comfortable. the fridge in the kitchen is small, but also not fastened in correctly, so moves about and sometimes it is difficult to shut the door, resulting in it being left ajar and wet shelves, plus the food not being as cold as it should be. the back up table top fridge in the garage was unusable, due to it being mouldy inside. when we arrived the door knob came off the bathroom upstairs, with a child inside. we had to fix it. the table in the lounge, which should unfold, has a broken leg, so was unusable and we would have liked to use it for a jigsaw. there was no large pan, and for a group of 7, it made cooking difficult. it was nice to have the slow cooker however. there was also a lack of basic utensils, whisk, mixing bowl and knives weren't sharp. pegs were provided but no washing line, so we had to dry clothes indoors. the hoover was broken when we arrived, but we let the owners know and they replaced it within 2 days. we did enjoy the holiday, but it would be great to fix the issues we mentioned.

Great location & well equipped house for an extended family or group of friends.
We had a great time celebrating NYE & all being together. A couple of things would have made things even better: â¢a few sachets of coffee/tea bags & a pint of milk to have a hot drink on arrival - it is dark at this time of year at 4 pm & the weather was horrendous so this would have been welcoming & appreciated- I have never stayed in a rental property ever where tea/coffee has not been provided & many properties even provide a welcome pack or cake etc â¢readily visible instructions for heating/gas fire/TV in lounge & practical info on nearest shop etc would have been appreciated â¢bins were overflowing from previous guests & we ended up tidying up their mess outside which had been blown around by the wind & bin had not been put back on its holder â¢bathroom door handle inside upstairs needs replacing as it comes off in your hand every time & rug in lounge curling up at each end and dangerous trip hazard for elderly guests Other than these few observations, we had a great time! Thank you!

2 Morfa View is comfortable, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated - we particularly appreciated the Welsh wool cushions and throws, woven locally.
The cottage is very conveniently situated just outside the town walls with all the sights, pubs and shops of Conwy within a few minutes walk. We had no difficulty finding the property or parking nearby. The location does mean that thereâs occasional noise from the surrounding houses (yapping dogs etc) but the garden gives a feel of seclusion. We would have preferred to know in advance that 1 & 2 Morfa View share the same front path (it came as a bit of a surprise!) but this has little practical impact as the neighbour is friendly and quiet. One other minor point actually had more of an impact on my enjoyment. I had assumed the fridge would have a small freezer compartment for ice cubes, but it didnât. As the weather was unseasonably warm, we missed being able to have chilled drinks in the evening. We would happily stay again - if there were a different fridge!
