  Truly beautiful

  I would like to take this opportunity to say how truly beautiful the cottage is, with the thatched roof and exquisite surroundings. In just the short time we were in Tarlton, we were able to relax and take in the fresh air, pop into Cirencester and sink a couple of pints at the Tunnel House Inn (and wander back across the fields at dusk). Finally, the one thing with which we struggled with was the bluntness of the knives (we ended up purchasing a cheap knife and board which we left there, and hope will prove useful to others) Given the style and class of the cottage, may I respectfully suggest either a steel or a whetstone might be a suitable addition to the kitchen. That aside, it was a real pleasure to be able to stay in such a beautiful cottage, in such peaceful surroundings and my thanks and congratulations to you and Oliver's Travels on such a wonderful abode.

  We booked this stay back in August and have been counting down the days to come.

  To say it was as good as the pictures doesn’t even do this place justice. It’s the most beautiful place, clean and so comfy it truly felt like a home away from home, we even said to eachother that we would happily live there it was that good! We’ve already recommended over 5 people to come here and will definitely come back. Emma was an absolutely delight, my partner saw both Emma and her husband and said how welcoming and lovely they were, and I stayed in touch with her over our stay and we didn’t feel like nuisance at all, ever. The hot tub was unreal morning and night and they have all the stuff you could need here. The ambient lighting is nothing short of a delight as people in their twenties it was so modern but so cosy! Honestly could not recommend this stay and if not the adjoining barn just for how good our stay was! X

  The Hayloft was amazing!

  I can’t recommend highly enough. Everything was perfect! The property was tastefully decorated throughout and had everything you’d need. The Japanese bath was a particular highlight, as was the two person hot tub. Lots of places to visit nearby including Westonbirt Arboretum (directly opposite), Tetbury, Stow-on-the-Wold, Castle Combe, Bourton-on-the-Water, Arlington Row and Cirencester. Also got to WWT Slimbridge, a wetland wildlife reserve. There were lots of nice restaurants to eat out. Lola and Co tapas in Tebury was fantastic! As was Amalfi in Nailsworth. The owners were lovely. Make sure to go say hi to the donkeys and chickens that live in the grounds. The donkeys are super friendly and couldn’t get enough of the carrots and ginger biscuits. Would’ve loved to have stayed longer!

  Myself and my Husband had a wonderful stay at The Hayloft for a week.

  The facilities at the property are excellent, super comfy cosy bed, hot tub that keeps the heat, large soaking tub and a fully equipped kitchen. Emma gave us a few local tips and the welcome pdf document that is sent has some great recommendations which we used. We also loved the Marshall speaker and to be honest we loved so much about the property that there isn’t enough space to list everything! Tetbury is absolutely charming and its only 5-7mins drive away, and the Arboretum is a 5min walk from the property. The property itself was the perfect place for us to get away from everything and we can’t wait to return. Thank you Emma!
