What our customers say about their holidays
Natalie - Verified booking
Although we had a wonderful time in South Devon, we were rather disappointed with Seaspray.
There were several things within the property that did not meet our holiday needs. The single bed is not a standard width size, although our 12 year old child slept ok, there is no way an adult could sleep in that bed and have adequate space. The king size bed is very soft so our backs suffered, and I kept banging my leg on the frame every time I got out of bed as the frame is too wide/chunky for the room, and the chest of drawers too, such a small gap to get around. The property needs a good clean - in particular the kitchen and towel rails in the bathroom. The oven was filthy. Several small things werenât working properly, the toaster, the kitchen clock, the curtain pole in the bedroom. The bath towels are tiny and didnât smell very nice, nor did the hoover. The glass on the bedside tables is dangerous as it kept sliding off, and we werenât keen on the glass dining table - maybe this property is better suited to a mature couple with no children. Although the property description said there was access to a lawned communal shared garden we found nowhere detailing which garden this was. We phoned the management company to ask. Unfortunately there is nowhere to hang or dry swimming/beach towels outside. We didnât feel comfortable using the garden but thatâs our choice. None of this spoilt our holiday as thankfully the weather was lovely so we were out most of the time. Both Smart TVs worked well which was helpful. The flat is in a great location for exploring this beautiful area of Devon - right next to bus stops, and the wonderful village of Stoke Fleming. We wouldnât return to Seaspray but will definitely return to this area again.

We had a lovely holiday (apart from the weather) The apartment had all the mod cons but they were quite technical even with the hand books they were difficult to work out but google helped.
it was lovely to have a washing machine the only two things I would like to have seen was a wall clock in the living area and a decent dustpan and brush both inexpensive. Also maybe some leaflets of things to see and do. It was a lovely touch to have milk and biscuits and other bits left for us and cleaning stuff although we did bring our own. The apartment was bright and airy the balcony was a nice extra. The apartment is very central to all the amenities train bus beach amusement arcade fair rides food outlets. Itâs a really lovely walk along the sea wall to Dawlish about 40 mins waving to the many trains that pass ! We loved seeing the black swans and other birds in the stream.we used the trains a few times to visit teignmouth Torquay and Paignton we went to the zoo when you get off the train you need a 22 bus to take you to the zoo. the only real problem we had was the parking we couldnât have our allocated space so was told to park in another space then had an irate lady leave a note and came to find us to complain we still couldnât have our space so had to use another wrong one

Yes I sent a list of problems to caretaker, Dish washer didn't work fridge made constant noises , freezer did after one day.
Bed double was rock hard and lumpy , the doors to both patios were dirty couldn't see through. TV no netflix.or free view. Contacted caretaker no she didn't k ow what to do it was not connected to wi fi. Kitchen cups cracked , one toilet roll (half) only , duvet had brown mark on it ? Didn't use other beds as on my own due to you not changing dates which I requested. I came home after two nights as I found the place shabby and depressing due to no sleep in double bed. The property on whole is not as described, building surrounding are in need of demolishing, building work opposite noisy when arrived Friday fortunately I did not stay after bank holiday. A waste of my money and I will never use your services again as I was told by the caretaker owner lives abroad and that I should have had the dates I requested in july/August as they were available, albeit I would have been more than angry paying double in that month.

This property is in a great location, less than a minute walk to the embankment and town centre in Dartmouth. On arrival we were able to stop outside and unload then park the car a few minutes walk away on a residential street (parking is notoriously bad in Dartmouth, particularly on Regatta week when we stayed). The property was exceptionally clean and spacious and very well appointed. The bedrooms are at the back and hence very quiet, great shower. We took our dog (and dog crate) and there was plenty of room to set up the crate. There is no outside space but for our purposes and with a dog it suited us perfectly as the town centre location means everything is easily accessible including a park in which to take the dog. Beautiful walks to the Castle and Kingswear via the ferry meant the dog could be off-lead. I would highly recommend this property if you are keen to get out and about. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We both walked into the flat on the first afternoon & both said WOW at the beautiful view from the bay window, it was & is THE most amazing viewpoint weâve had whilst on holiday in Dartmouth & weâve been a few times now.
The flat was lovely, the bed comfortable, kitchen well equipped & the table & chairs in front of the window is perfect for eating dinner at. The only downside was the cleanliness, the kitchen worktop was really âstickyâ & there was a smear of food (?) on the surface near the sink so I had to wipe it all down with antibacterial wipes, the inside roof of the microwave was/is filthyâ¦I didnt see why we should clean it as we didnât use it or intend using it especially after seeing how mucky it was (bits of what looked like cheese/tomato etc stuck/hanging from the inside. Both sofas have big watermarks/stains on the seat cushions & there are marks/stains on the sides & back/top of the sofa, they need an good upholstery clean to get rid of all of the stains. Plus there are scuffs, marks & stains on the walls, one on the wall in the hallway near the bathroom & a few on the side wall in the bedroom near the window.
