  Where do I begin? lets just say we did not want to leave Christinas beautiful home!!! We plan to return many times as we LOVED The Beech SOOOO much! The location is perfect to the seafront, to the shops...to the buses..to the trains...restaurants...there is nothing negative to say. You can walk everywhere..you do not need to use a car! Upon arrival Christina had left a lovely loaf of bread..fresh farm eggs...butter.... The kitchen was well stocked and she was a lovely lady to chat with..warm and engaging. I stayed with my mother...we had a wonderful time together.....bright sunny and cozy accommodation...... everyday I was out the door at 0600am to take an early morning walk along the seafront..to Holy well.....back to the Pier...tea at the Beach cafe....pick up a newspaper at Carlisles newsagents and back to the Beech We HIGHLY recommend Christinas beautiful home....you will NOT be disappointed This lovely home has everything you would need!!

  Well we used this as our base for getting around the Sussex Coastline.

  We had a fab time and this place gave us a great launch pad to visit places in Sussex. I think we walked the England Coastline whilst there, well that's what my feet are telling me! Public transport is great there too, train station less than 10 mins walk and bus stops 5 mins walk. Right this place is not a palace but it is clean, tidy and very welcoming which is just what you want. It has everything you need for a week or two's stay. There was some nice touches too, we took are doggie there with us and to our surprise there was some dog treats there for little Albie. He loved them! Tea, coffee and milk awaiting your arrival so that was great to have a cup of tea/coffee when we got there. The bedroom and living/dinning room are large with more space than you actually need. For two people and a doggie this place was perfect for us. Would I come back this this place - YES!

  This apartment is amazing. First of all it’s super clean, it’s so big and light, it’s absolutely wonderful. Added bonus is that the owner, Christina, is just upstairs, so if you’ve got a problem, which we didn’t because everything is carefully thought out, she’s not too far away. The location is great, it’s within walking distance of the beach, train station, shops and some great restaurants, Morgan’s being one. Eastbourne is great, the sight seeing bus is brilliant taking you out to Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters. It’s a great base to use for visiting other places like Brighton, Battle and Hastings. We will definitely be back, we loved it. Thank you Christina.

  Perfect place to be, directly in the Old Town of Hastings!

  The interieur is tastefull, we really love it!!! Kitchen is good supplied, but not enough cutlery, the knives are not knives, they are not sharp, you can’t cut meat or bread. The sofa is really horrible to sit on with four people and the television is not working. The table is too high for having diner or lunch, or the chairs are too low (cold to sit on the chairs) Important: hooks for bath towels, handle in the shower, floor is very slippery, chair in the bedroom for sitting on and cloths. Extreme smell of old cellar in both bedrooms…

  Fabulous, quirky property in Hastings Old Town.

  Property was very well equipped with lots of logs for the log burner, cleaning materials, tea, coffee, milk etc and the fresh cake a lovely touch. Bedrooms both of a good size again with lovely touches like cotton wool, tissues left for use. Reversing out of the lane on to the narrow road took a day or two to get used to but was fine. The Crown pub on the corner serves fabulous food so is great to have so nearby. Would recommend this property and would happily stay again as it’s great for exploring the Sussex and Kent coastline.
