  Lovely apartment to stay in; we all enjoyed it very much. Light & airy, spacious, clean & with all the mod cons’; very high spec apartment! Just a couple of things to note: •The accuracy of the off street parking. We were unsure where it was. We tried the first gate/entrance and couldn’t get in. Tried the code we’d been given many times but obviously it didnt work as it wasn’t the correct entrance! Wasted time and was stressful as we didn’t know what to do. Until, after a while, we then realised the was another entrance. Also code for building was different too to the one you gave us. •My parent’s shower in their bedroom didn’t work at all during our stay. We tried to work why on a few occasions but then they had to use our bathroom, as the water was going from burning hot to freezing cold; which was a real shame as it was a bit of a treat for them as they don’t have one at home. So that was a bit of a let down. •On the first morning of our stay I was enjoying the beautiful view and was then sprayed by the window cleaner who didn’t call a warning to say he/she was cleaning the balcony windows. I was soaked and it went into my eye. Very glad that the water didn’t have cleaning fluid in it otherwise it would have been a trip to A&E for me! Might be an idea for them to do it earlier in the morning or when there isn't anyone staying there! •Just so you’re aware - one of the screws has come out of the railings overlooking the beach so is quite loose. •A suggestion for more instructions about how to use things would be great also. The flat became very warm at times and we tried to lower the heating or even try and put air con on to no avail so we ended up just turning it off (once we knew how!) so would be good to have instructions for that plus the oven/microwave/hob! If it was just my parents staying there they wouldn’t have had a clue how to use anything! The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils crockery cutlery etc and we enjoyed some lovely meals together at the dining table. The view was absolutely fantastic and we had the best weather all week. I would come back for that view alone! Just one more thing to add, when I opened the oven door for the first time something ‘fell out’ of underneath the door, almost as if it had been balanced in there.   We stay in Mawgan Porth each year and chose the apartment for it's great location.

  We arrived to find it just as advertised, a lovely apartment with everything you need and spotlessly clean. Our only gripe was the ensuite was unusable due to a broken toilet seat which couldn't be sat on and a basin that had the plug fast stuck shut. Surely the cleaners would have noticed this and should have asked maintenance to fix. Also the door from the lounge to the hallway doesn't close properly so it rattles unless you leave it wide open. It would be handier if the terrace had some sort of fence or barrier so that you could sit out with your dogs on the terrace. The rule of no dogs on the grass means you can't really sit on the terrace if you have dogs with you for concern of them stepping out. The entrance to the car park could do with better thought as there's minimal room to sit your car in the road whilst fiddling with a chain to open it. We had a lovely holiday and would certainly come back. Thank you

  We had a lovely time here over New Year.

  The cottage is small but well appointed so didn’t feel cramped. There was an odd fusty smell in the bedroom which we narrowed down to a pillow - once banished the smell disappeared. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and exceptionally clean. The complimentary milk, bottle of fizz and cream tea was a thoughtful touch and highly appreciated after a 5 hour journey! As was the doggie care kit. I failed to take any shower gel based on the pictures - which showed it was provided - there were no toiletries but I just used my other half’s (my fault for assuming). The beach was a disappointment - small and due to tide, only appearing for a couple of hours each day but the cliff walk is good if you have the knees! The Port William pub was fantastic - friendly staff, good food and dog friendly with a great view over the cove. All in all - great holiday and would recommend the cottage.

  This was a fantastic break!

  The Beach Hut is in a idilic location, perfect for those long coastal walks, easy access (20 yards away) to the sea and beach, when the tide is out. The Hut was exceptionally well presented and had everything that we could have wanted. The shower was strong and hot which is essential and all the fitting were of a high standard and quite luxurious. There were also independently operated radiators which gave us total control of the heating. This was not really needed but just putting them on for 30 minutes in the evening made all the difference to taking the chill and damp out of the air. The pub was clearly only 4 minutes walk away and with fore-planning eating out there was no problem and quite good pub grub, with marvellous views. What better way to watch the sun go down after a long day walking or in the sea? A brilliant place, property and value!

  Beautiful cottage in the most beautiful place.

  So welcoming and the attention to detail is a real wow!! This was our second visit to Beach Hut and the cream tea provided on arrival is such a lovely touch. I would just like to add, that when we visited last year bedding was not provided - and on the back of COVID that was understandable. However we are in different times now and with the world back to normal. We got this cottage at a discount and booked 2 weeks prior to arrival- and there were 3 weeks available in August at the time of booking. It’s a shame that such a high quality and beautiful cottage should not be getting the bookings it deserves as the standard is so high. Provide the bedding and this place sells out at top dollar. Owners are selling themselves short. I have not marked it down at all due to this as it is truly wonderful x
