  This lodge was an ideal base for exploring the delights of Northumberland including Alnwick, Holy Island and Druridge Bay to name a few.

  The property was comfortable and very spacious inside and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The park was nice and quiet and the beds were really comfy too. The Crazy Horse Saloon is situated 50 metres from the lodge and while we found the menu a little restricted, the food was very good. There is entertainment on a few nights and also bingo nights. To keep the kids entertained there is a games room in the basement. There is also a nice quiet lake on the park to walk dogs round. I must also mention the owner of the lodge who we found to be easily contactable and very welcoming and left some nice treats on arrival. I would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting Northumberland.

  This Lodge was in the most perfect setting, especially the garden for the dog.

  Was great watching the squirrels and plenty of other wildlife paying a visit. Lodge was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. A nice touch on arrival was a bottle of prosecco, and some doggy treats, much appreciated.. We went to Seahouses, Duridge Bay and Amble during our 4 day break, all well worth a visit. About 2 mile away, in Felton, there's a fabulous bakery, along with a great place to eat, called The Northumberland Arms. Overall, I couldn't fault our break, and we will most definitely be back again, for sure. Thank You Nigel, Joanne, little nana and Rolo the cocker spaniel.

  We have just returned from our holiday at 23 Lakeside Drive.

  We had such a lovely time there. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and very spacious in a lovely woodland setting. The site is well managed and very well maintained and being just off the A1 makes travel to all of the surrounding areas very easy. Our Labrador Lola was made very welcome with her own water bowl and treats. I have never known her to settle in so quickly to a holiday home! Some very nice welcome touches from the owners for us too, thank you! If we were to return to this part of the country again we would definitely book this cabin and will be sharing details with all of our friends.

  We were a party of 3 adults and one child.

  The one year old child stayed in the double bed with his mother leaving the other two adults on the single beds. The beds were so small they were only fit for children making our nights sleep uncomfortable. We arrived just after the stated 4pm and found the hot tub still being filled up. We couldn't use it until almost 6.30pm which was a little disappointing. The hot tub was well checked throughout our stay. I'd recommend this cottage for two adults and two children. The site pub and play area is good and welcoming. It is well placed to visit the many great locations Northumberland has to offer.

  We had a great time at 23 Lakeside Drive.

  Even though the cabin is in the middle of Felmoor Park it's like the entire world falls away the second you step foot in the cabin. Trees, and nothing but trees as far as the eye can see. The cabin is beautifully furnished and immaculately cleaned. We ended up bringing far too much stuff with us and we really needn't have bothered - the kitchen is equipped with everything we might need, plus tea and coffee (and a thoughtfully left bottle of milk in the fridge, which was much appreciated). If we're ever down in Northumberland again, we'll definitely be back!
