We could not find any information sheet showing - the nearest medical facilities, recycling facilities, ATM, Petrol, Vets, Church, Supermarket, Post Office, Park & Ride, etc.
WE HAD NO VISIT BY THE OWNERS DURING OUR STAY. Early doors, we made contact with the owners, by mobile phone, about the appalling wi-fi but nothing was done. The situation of the property needs to be emphasised that access is by a single-lane, poorly maintained. road which is also used by farm vehicles, commercial vehicles as well as residents, dog walkers, and pedestrians. On property maintenance, the sugar caddy contained solidified contents, the tea container had 2 two Earl Grey tea bags and one teabag of doubtful origin. The coffee container had 3 coffee bags on top of some instant coffee granules, again of doubtful origin. Apart from a smart TV, there was no CD or DVD player. 'Attention to detail' would be my watchword. Oh, I couldn't find the carbon monoxide alarm recommended on the last 2023 central heating boiler service sheet, found in the kitchen. I am/ we are NOT mystery shoppers, just Jo Public with reasonably wide experience of using self-catering both here, and in the. USA, Canada, and Western Europe.

We had a lovely family short break in Ludlow (although the weather was against us).
The property is actually even nicer than it appears on the photos. It was clean and comfortable and had character. The large secure walled garden was great for our dog and the kids to run around in. We had everything we needed and itâs only a short walk from town. The stairs really are very steep so would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems or very young kids however we found it was quite easy to keep doors shut to block access. The off road parking space is small and only just fitted our estate car. Parking on the road is very tight. There is lots of good walking locally. Our dog had a great time running around at Mortimer Forest. To push it to 5 star it would be nice to have some local products as a welcome gift, given Ludlow is known as a foodie town, and for a longer family stay the ability to wash and dry clothes. It also seems a shame not to make more of the garden as it is such a lovely space but currently doesnât really have any planting.

We were a family group of 3 generations and 3 dogs having a weekend together at Caynham Court.
There is lots of space and the rooms are huge. We worried about the rooms being cold but neednât have as it was super toasty for the whole of our stay. The log fire was on throughout our stay and was much appreciated. We didnât get to explore the grounds much as it rained torrentially during our stay, but they looked lovely. The beds were very comfortable and en-suites huge with lots of hot water. We cooked big meals and enjoyed the spacious dining table for food and games. The kitchen had most of what we needed for cooking, though struggled with deciphering the cooker symbols. The hosts were on hand and relaid the fire each morning which was good. All in all we had a great time. The property is casual and comfortable and a property to definitely relax in. We would definitely consider again in the future.Thank you.

Great location and overall a nice place to stay but we felt the accommodation could do with an update especially considering the price charged.
The kitchen is modern and well-stocked, the garden is enclosed and mainly grass so it was great for our two toddlers and dog to play in. However, wouldnât say this is a great place for families with young children though because of the steep staircase. The addition of a stair gate would help make this more family friendly. We felt that upstairs could do with an update. Thereâs only one toilet in the house and the flush was a bit temperamental. Iâve given 3 stars for comfort as despite other reviews stating theyâre comfortable, we found the beds were on the short side! I highly recommend The Mill on the Green for breakfast and a great spot for paddling in the river.

We were six adults staying at Greenacres for a New Year's eve break and the cottage was perfect.
Great quiet location yet close to Ludlow and other attractions. The cottage was very comfortable and felt very homely. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to make evening meals for six. The two double bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable. The twin was a bit on the small side for two adults but comfortable nonetheless. We really appreciated the nice welcome gifts and being able to check a little later than required. Only improvement would be the kettle which didn't work very well. Bit only a very minor inconvenience. We had a great time and would highly recommend Greenacres.
