What our customers say about their holidays

I have informed the Manager of the property about a few things which needed attending to and some suggestions.
But I can repeat some of them here.. I suggested giving a bit more clarity in the directions to the property, so include the name of the road which leads to the property. I decided to walk up at the end as the road was so steep, as I wasn't sure where the property was, & didn't want to be stuck trying to turn round..! Another suggestion was to leave a dishcloth, especially to wipe up the water which stays behind the kitchen taps, so can effect the wood surface. We were glad we had brought one with us! The floorboards in the bathroom are very creaky, so I asked if this could be adjusted at all.. Also it is much easier to get out of the car space at the back, so I recommended suggesting that rather than at the front. But maybe I made the mistake of reversing in, as I noticed the neighbours had..! The many ornaments are lovely, but we weren't sure whether we could use one of the small jugs on the coffee table.. And they did take up quite a big space. (Just an observation and don't mean to be picky..) It may be good to mention there's a blind in the double bed room, so people don't try to unravel the lovely curtains?.. But there are so many things to thank you for - such as the radio, the compact kitchen diner with all we needed & kindly leaving milk and Welsh cakes. Plus such clear information in the pack left. We had never been up there before so it was a delight, with amazing views!..

Firstly this cottage is in a absolutely stunning location, simply beautiful.
The cottage itself has been lovely of restored by the owner and the attention to the finishes inside show how much effort has been taken with the restoration. Sadly we had a few issues with the cottage which were not resolved whilst we were staying there. On arrival the cottage smelt musty and was very cold, we were freezing and the 2 large radiators in the large lounge were not working properly, which made the downstairs very cold to sit in. We had to keep the hearing on and the fire going for 24hrs to warm the house through. There was also a lot of surface dust and dead flies in the property. I suspect it hadnât not been used since the previous customers and had been cleaned but had sat unused for a few weeks, hence it feeling cold, musty, surface dust and flies. The house really is a beautiful little gem but the oversight on the few issues we experienced let it down slightly, which is a shame. We did message the number on t he email but never got a reply. Iâm sure the summer months would be wonderful stay without the heating/cold issues and regular cleaning turn arounds would make a perfect little holiday home.

A very spacious and well kept house with a lovely homely feel.
The finish and furniture are all excellent. Everything you could need for a holiday is contained within the property and it has the advantage off off road parking. The fact that it caters for dogs was also welcome and the hard floors make keeping the house clean, very easy. The house does sit quite a way from the main part of Llandudno so be prepared to walk for 20 minutes or so to reach it, or a few minutes drive in the car. The promenade is about five minutes by foot and is a lovely walk. There are a large selection of shops, restaurants, takeaways and a large shopping centre in Llandudno. Shame there aren't pubs in easy walking distance of the house but that's not the fault of the property. The Queen Victoria in Llandudno and the Penrhyn Arms in Penrhyn both cater for dogs and have nice outdoor areas for people and pets. Penderyn Distillery is in Llandudno and is excellent value for £11.50 each which includes a guided tour and two generous drams. Adam gave us a nice welcome on arrival and we thank him and his family for allowing us to stay in this house. We wish you every success in the future.

This was a really lovely house in an excellent locationand we had a great stay visiting friends and family.
In general the house was good, but there were some issues that would make it great and that we found very disappointing. The cleanliness of the bedrooms was a bit hit and miss. Skirting boards and surfaces like bedheads were dirty/dusty and a little off putting. Pillows could also do with replacing. The loung was really grubby looking: cushions and throw looked dirty, sofa cushions were stained and grubby looking and very off putting and smelt, old furniture was did not add any value to the room with old chairs needing upholstering etc. The house needs a lot of TLC and decorating to bring it up to a better standard. This is all very easily fixed and over all the house is great and has a lot to offer. We understand if pets are allowed in the house, but please stress NOT on the furniture. Also parking is a little tricky which I know is true in Conwy- we had to park on the street as a skip was delivered for work on the next door property, but this was not too much of an issue. We would stay again but would think about it if these few things were not corrected. There is a lot of competition out there.

This is a fabulously equiped cottage with everything we could have needed in the kitchen and even little smellies in the bathrooms.
The lights and heating were left on for us so it felt warm and inviting when we arrived on a cold October evening. The property has been beautifully decorated and furnished and felt like a real home from.home. its in a great rural location, quiet except for the sounds of the stream running by. You coukd have been miles from civilisation when actually you are only 2 mins from the main road and access to plenty of places to visit, eat and things to do. A previous review said they couldn't work out how to turn the TV on and we would agree that its not too obvious and if you aren't confident it would be difficult and some written instructions would be good. Our only tiny criticism would be that from information provided, we had expected to be able to start a fire on the first night without having to bring anything but all there was was a log that was too big for the stove and newspapers. No kindling. So on our first night we had to go out to find logs and kindling. Otherwise, this is a great property and we would highly recommend. Thank you
