  We were unfortunately let down on a cottage booking we had made on line with another provider. We contacted Coquet and they couldn’t have been more helpful, all the staff I’ve spoken to had been so friendly and helpful. We booked Seaview in Craster as it was just were we wanted to go, booked on the Sunday and arrived on the Monday so very short notice. Arrived at Seaview and what a lovely surprise to have a welcome box for us and the dog waiting along with fresh flowers! In the box there is bottled water, bottle of wine, beer, tea, coffee, chocolate, biscuits, fresh loaf, conserves as well as fresh milk and butter in the fridge! The Dog bag had towels, treat and poop bags. Just an illustration of the effort they go to and the thought put in. Seaview is a fantastic cottage set over 3 floors and finished to a very high standard. Lovely big conservatory, great kitchen with all you need (including a big range cooker). Lovely living room with log burner. 1st floor a double and a twin bedroom, a huge family bathroom with large bath and a wet room shower, sink and toilet. Up to the 2nd floor in the converted loft, there is a big double with en-suite, shower wet room with sink and toilet. Parking for 2 cars outside with a couple of outside places to sit and enjoy the peace and quite. The Ship Inn bar/restaurant is 2 minutes walk and Craster village with its bar and restaurants is about 10 minutes walk. Loads to do in the area and the people are very welcoming. Will definitely be using Coquet gain to book and would highly recommend them.

  A very well equipped and comfortable cottage in a beautiful place: We have had a wonderful holiday! I think that the lounge has everything you could possibly need – thank you! We were out for a lot of the time, but found the conservatory to be a lovely light, airy and comfortable place to sit when we came back. We enjoyed the walk to Craster and excellent food in the Jolly Fisherman. The fish and chips in the pub next to the cottage were also very good. We walked to Howick Hall; highly recommend a visit to the gardens. And the cliff and coastal path back to Craster was stunning. Equally beautiful the other way to Dunstanburgh Castle and beyond to Embleton beach (had a fantastic round of golf!). I’ve had a day up on the moors of the Linhope Estate – Six hours walking and met no one! Simply stunning, although in parts quite challenging. Worth driving to the Breamish Valley even if not a walker. All in all, another wonderful week in Beautiful Northumberland. Thank you!

  Very comfortable cottage in a great location. Everything we needed locally was available. This was the most comprehensive welcome basket we have ever had in any cottage. We loved it! There was high quality provisions, and the doggy welcome basket was wonderful! The conservatory was a gorgeous room, which we used a lot. We loved the fabulous easy walk from the doorstep down into Craster. The high quality furnishings were appreciated. There was a superb laundry room and outside storage, as well as the outside loo! There was also several different places to sit outside. This was our first stay in a Coquet Holidays cottage. We will most certainly be looking at your website first the next time we want to book a holiday in the area.

  Spent an amazing week here at Sea View. The weather has been fantastic. Sunshine has not stopped all week. We have eaten at The Jolly Fisherman and The Cottage Inn, also The Shoreline Cafe – all extremely good. We have walked so many footpaths and loved seeing all the lambs. The walk to Dunstanburgh Castle is wonderful (my favourite) the beaches are too, enjoyed a trip to Alnwick and Barter Books is amazing. Had a lovely walk at Alnmouth and in the hills, St Cuthberts Way near Wooler. The cottage has been perfect and we shall be sorry to leave. Back soon we hope.

  We’ve had a wonderful weekend at Sea View, which is a delightful, cosy and very comfortable cottage, won the quality and thoughtful touches that we’ve come to expect from Coquet Cottages. We had a lovely walk to Dunstanburgh Castle and into Craster, and a trip up to Bamburgh Beach. Lovely meals at both the Jolly Fisherman and the Ship Inn at Low Newton, and I have a beautiful memento in the form of earrings from Mick Oxleys gallery in Craster. We adore Northumberland and this was a perfect end to a post-Christmas holiday.
