What our customers say about their holidays

Fronwig is a great location with amazing views.
For a 5 star property we expected a few more of the basics to be right though. Needs a better equipped kitchen, baking trays for cooking, chipped mugs to be replaced, kitchen roll etc. Hand towel in the downstairs toilet and handwash. The welcome pack was probably the most underwhelming we have ever had, a pint of milk, and a couple of tea bags is a small cost but always appreciated after a long journey, instead of just a bara brith cake. Be prepared to spend a few hours getting the hot tub filled and the water warm. The garden was secure for the dogs (just one section where, if your dog is inclined, by the front gate, they can get on top of the wall and out). The bedrooms are all a great size with basic furnishings. Overall itâs a beautiful spacious house, could just do with a few more home from home comforts for the price. Do take note of the house info about the parking space being tight, it certainly is if you have a big car.

What a fab house!
Perfect place for a birthday gathering - we had a wonderful week. It's really refreshing to stay at a house for large groups which is so well equipped - the range and number of glasses alone was a revelation! Everything is so nicely decorated and laid out, clean, tidy, easy to find (apart from a mop, would have been very useful, and maybe a couple more tea towels?) - there was nothing significant that we felt we missed. One thing to note the jets on the wall side of the hot-tub weren't working, and the pool cues/balls were missing from the games room...but honestly, the view, the location, the comfort (especially the fabulous beds) were wonderful. Hugely recommend The Lime Crab on the pier for outstanding chippy tea, and a wander to the little church yard that you can see from the deck. Prepare your thighs for the walk back up the hill from town :) Will certainly be bearing in mind for a return visit - thank you!

The location of the property is great, however it's a bit misleading. The Seaview is beyond a view of at least 100 caravans which are directly to the back of the property. If you have children they cannot play outside without supervision as the garden is to the right of the property and is isolated from the house as is the "games room". As a family we do eat in throughout our holiday. The kitchen didn't feel well equipped to cook for a family of 4. There's a knife sharpener but no oven tray, not enough worktop space or equipment of adequate size to cook for a family. The saniflo macerator was an unwelcome alarm clock going off at 3am every morning. New Quay is a fabulous coastal village, we've visited every year for the past 5. This time unfortunately we cut our holiday short, leaving after 3 nights.

We had a fabulous 2 week stay here, the photos on the website do not do it justice.
The house has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and the sea views are amazing. We did have a few problems, the sink in the kitchen and one of the ensuite showers was not draining which resulted in the drains over flowing on the patio, and we also ran out of gas. We rang the emergency number and they came and sorted the problems on the same day. We could not fault the service we received. We also queried why there were no pool ques or balls, and they advised us the owner decided not to replace these items due to the constant misuse. I would suggest this is removed from the listing. This would not stop us rebooking this amazing property in the future. We hope to return.

Just returned from a week long stay at Belvedere and from the moment we walked in to the house, we absolutely loved it. I especially loved Ty Bach-so cute and a real surprise! Everywhere was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The games room and garden was a real bonus and the location was ideal. The views out to cardigan bay from the house and further along the road were magnificent and it was only a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach which was ideal for dog walks. Great places to eat and the New Quay ice cream did not disappoint!! Have just booked another holiday there and can’t wait to return!! Thank you to the owners of this lovely property. It’s a little gem.
