  For a self catering property this was very poorly equipped.

  We were left with a bottle of sparkling wine, which was appreciated but there was only one champagne flute. There was a small selection of glasses which were very poor indeed. There was no chopping board other than for bread, which was the the top of the bread bin. There was no bread knife. There was no cheese knife.The mugs we mismatched and of poor quality. One of the plates had a large chip on the edge. There were just three cereal bowls and there were just three desert spoons. This a great shame as the property is in an enviable position overlooking the beach and the sea. We stayed here in 2019 and it was much better equipped on that visit. Lastly the cleaning could have been better, there were huge cobwebs hanging from the living room ceiling and while we appreciate that it does have a high ceiling the cleaner should be provided with something to clean these away. We took up all these issues at the start of our stay with Sykes but nothing was done to correct any of the issues. We also called the cleaner and a message but we did not get the courtesy of a reply.

  An absolutely A1 experience from start to finish.

  This is a hidden gem and we are so glad we booked it! Our first impressions when we opened the door to the property met every expectation - everything was spotlessly clean, and cleverly designed. The warm floors were a lovely welcome every time we came back, and the electric Velux window allowed us the best ventilation at night, we enjoyed the lapping of the waves and fresh sea air and slept like babies! Sennen Cove was also a real surprise, pulling us down to the beach each day. We had a hiccup on departure, we forgot some stuff!!! But even this wasn't an issue and the same A1 5* experience continued, and our parcel turned up at home with everything that we thought was lost forever. So all in all, 100% recommend to anyone reading our review, and whilst we wish the owner all the success, we hope a week or two will remain so we can come back another time!!!   This property is NOT detached despite the agent assuring me it was. It also is nothing like the pristine photos shown on the website. The seal on the window units are broken down, the gutters and fence and gate are covered in mould, the garden is unkept with empty broken planters lying around. I had to put up with a bedroom door that would not close and then have to be available on my holiday for the carpenter to fix it. Why was this not noticed and fixed earlier? The bed linen felt damp and the bed was not comfortable. More emphasis has been spent with all the rules applied to this property and not applied to things like where are good places to eat, shop, sightsee etc. It is unacceptable only get BBC1 and one film on the TV. Went out and bought a DVD player and and extra cable and it would not recognise it or play. Next door had a very noisy child that disturbed me most mornings and evenings hence the importance of a detached property for me.

  This is a most Beautiful place to stay.

  Reserved parking immediately out front and views to die for. Lovely welcome package. Hand wash, hand cream etc. Very impressed indeed. It's a shame that the Bifold door in the kitchen, and the Kitchen window are both broken. Only the door can be used. I had to phone about this as a note hadn't been left, and was told they were aware but it can't be repaired until after the Summer bookings. However, it didn't spoil our stay, you have the Bi-folds in the Living Room to open so plenty of fresh Air. No small windows to leave open overnight, so can get a bit stuffy, only the Velux in the Bathroom, which shuts automatically if Rain is detected. Also, I did see other comments on the lack of crockery and that hasn't changed much. Set of 4 for Dinner service and only set of 4 for cutlery? Does have enough pans. Not a major issue but the spec of this property is so high, then they are stingy on that? Still, a wonderful stay was had and we shall return!

  We stayed here last July, loved it but there were a few issues back then.

  A lack of cutlery and crockery and were pleased to see it is now much more stocked and the Kitchen Bi-fold was broken, it was much better being able to open it this year. We love this place, very high end spec with all the comforts. We will be booking again, yes it is expensive but worth it. A wonderful position too. The cleaners were great, it must be said. We had a 2 week stay and they arranged with us to change the Towels and Linen after 1 week, they also cleaned and swept through, which we weren't expecting to be done. A big improvement on last year, when we were asked to strip the Bed ourselves and leave the linen and Towels outside. A new Bag was then left and we then had to remake the bed ourselves, as they said it's not their practice to enter on a 2 week stay. These new ladies were shocked when I offered to do the Bed! We were offered 2 time slots for our convenience, very friendly and helpful.
