What our customers say about their holidays

We were made very welcome by the landlord Mr Jones and the Bara Brith was really lovely!
It's a great location for so many things and places:- The Spinneys nature reserve up on the Coast near Aberogwen( about 5 - 10 mins by car) was a hidden gem. Small hides, but great place to walk on the beach and see incoming wildlife. If you want to see red squirrels go to the Dingle nature reserve in Llangefni Anglesey. Lovely 30 minute walk up to the reservoir there too. It's only about 3/4 hour to Portmeirion, and worth a visit. Farm shop in next village is good for local cheese, eggs, milk and fresh salad stuff, and sells great ground coffee! It also has a small coffee shop selling cakes and home made pies and pasties. Cottage was very comfy and clean. Only thing I would say is to make sure to bring some washing up liquid and whatever you clean dishes with, as these arn't provided. Plates are microwaveable, but might be useful to have a small micro -waveable bowl to heat food up. Otherwise cottage has all the basics you'll need. Very peaceful place to stay.

Overall we had a lovely time away however, the accommodation could have been better for a weekâs stay.
Reason being, we had our dogs with us, there is no secure garden so we constantly had to be outside on the decking with them. The drive is very hard to get onto and there is loose decking when walking up to the bungalow. There was one rail to put clothes on and not enough space to store away our belongings. The beds are single beds (pushed together to make a double) which we would recommend a double bed as it is likely to have couples/family to stay where youâd presume a double bed is provided. The beds were not overly comfortable nor the sofa. There was a build up of flies/flying insects throughout the week however we did use the zapper provided which was helpful. The bungalow wasnât overly clean on arrival and we had one toilet roll per toilet, 2 dishwasher tablets, nothing to clean with so we had to buy essentials which is fine, but a few household items would be a nice touch. The beautiful views were the highlight of the stay and very good location.

Lovely flat in a perfect location for walking to the beach and village, and for driving further afield.
Plenty of parking outside the flat (in October). The size suits a couple more than 4 people unless the other 2 are kids. Cleanliness was 95% there, just a little more attention needed ( such as the very grubby living room rug which we cleaned. I assume it was dirty as it's used by dogs but it took us 5 mins to transform it and remove most of the large, very visible stains, so it could easily have been a bit more pleasant on our arrival). Great for a stay with our puppy as the garden was pretty secure and very accessible, but the info book stated no pets allowed even though we booked clearly with one dog, which was a little concerning. Bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. A little more attention to some details would have helped, such as 2 remote controls with flat batteries on arrival. It's in a nice quiet area. Kitchen was quite well equipped, albeit very small. Sofas and bed were unusually comfortable for a holiday let.

It's a lovely bungalow!
With beautiful views...the down side of this property is ...there is no garden, when you need to take you pets for a toilet you need to take your pets around the other side of the bungalow which at night time is very dangerous as the lights do not work so you need a touch, as it's on a very steep hill be prepared to balance yourself ... Windows blow with a breeze coming through! As for the heating there needs to be better instructions on how it works! Very dirty glass on the entrance light bulb in kitchen needs replacing ! Clock on wall does not work needs a battery... They just need an aerial for the lounge TV.... Not everybody watches Netflix real-time TV is nice to watch... But other than that... It was a nice stay Wales it self has captured my heart

Thank You for the basket of goodies and the doggy toy etc it was a lovely touch.
Weâve had a wonderful holiday here, the views are so beautiful. It really felt like a home from home. The beds were very comfy too and great showers. I wouldnât say the garden was enclosed tho. And â¦.parking the car was a big downer!! A very steep drive up and a sharp turn into the driveway. If youâve ever done Hardknott Pass in the lakes, itâs like that. My husband fortunately is a very good driver but it still made it very worrisome every time we went out and returned, especially in the wet, wheels skidded. Perhaps the driveway could be made wider into the property or maybe ask the farmer if possibly park on his land a bit further down, left of his gate??? Such a shame as the property was stunning and this will stop us coming again.
