Our week-long retreat at Pol Glas Cabin was nothing short of enchanting, offering a serene escape into nature's embrace.
From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views that greeted us, painting a picturesque backdrop for our stay. The cabin itself was immaculately cleaned, setting the stage for a truly rejuvenating experience. The highlight of our welcome was undoubtedly the thoughtful pack awaiting us, complete with freshly baked scones, milk, tea, and even Buck's Fizzâa delightful touch that immediately made us feel at home. However, it's important to note that we found ourselves quite overlooked from the neighboring property, a detail not evident from the photos. While this didn't detract significantly from our experience, it did affect our sense of privacy at times. Additionally, while the enclosed garden provided a sense of security, we noticed that a large dog could possibly escape. Adding another foot of fencing could enhance the enclosure, especially considering the proximity to the neighboring property. One of the highlights of our stay was the hot tub, which provided a blissful retreat after a day of exploring the surrounding countryside. Relaxing in the warm waters, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, was an experience we'll cherish for years to come. Despite these minor considerations, our time at Pol Glas Cabin was truly unforgettable. With its stunning views, impeccable cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities, it's a sanctuary we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a tranquil escape into the beauty of the countryside.

This really is a unique experience. We came here for three nights in early October for a bit of peace and quiet away from the metropolitan rush. We certainly got that. It is difficult to list everything good about this place in one review. It is a self sufficient shepherds hut located in a secluded meadow in the Lizard Peninsula. The affable proprietors have left no stone unturned to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Comfortable four poster bed with premium bedding, log fuelled hot tub, barbecue hut, hammock, seating area, kitchen and superb power shower make this a perfect break whatever the weather. One word of warning is that because the hut is run off its own solar power it doesnât cope with electrical items such as hairdryers or straighteners but you are advised about this. It is in a great location to explore all West Cornwall has to offer. In the current climate it is excellent value for money. We will most certainly be returning

The barbecue hut was where we spent most of our time cooking eating it was the coldest weekend he has experienced, but with all the fires lit in the shepherds hut and in the barbecue area we had the most amazing weekend wish we couldâve stayed longer.the hut is so well equipped for Every scenario the bed that you will be sleeping on. Itâs something to die for one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on You are livin Offgrid and at this time of year expect a few problems but problems was overcome within minutes. Thanks to owners frozen pipes not a problem fixed within the hour. I may be ranting on, but this is one hell of a place romance peaceful displays it all highly recommended and we will be going there again.
