  Beautiful cottage, exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean. We all loved the cottage and felt very comfortable during our stay. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and all of the Easter goodies were a hit with the children! The location was ideal for places we planned to visit. It was beautifully finished and had everything we needed as a group of 6. We could tell from the photos online that the property looked to be finished to a high standard and this is something we really appreciate when looking for a holiday home. The whole process was very straightforward. All of the essentials were really useful. We had a grocery delivery the first evening but the welcome basket provided everything we needed to get us started. We have been really impressed with Coquet Cottages throughout the whole process. We first booked with you in April 2020 and the pandemic unfortunately stopped our plans. When we were looking to book this trip, I recalled how helpful you had been at the time and how quickly we had been refunded without any hassle at all. When we needed to rearrange our dates because of a hospital appointment, you were so very helpful I would not hesitate to recommend you and will definitely be booking our next Northumberland trip with you. I just wish there were Coquet Cottages all over the UK. Thank you!

  The cottage is next door to the owners, but completely private and you are welcome to use the whole garden, which is really large and beautiful, and the tennis court, for which they kindly provide tennis racquets and balls in the house. The owners were welcoming, and not in any way intrusive. The house is spotlessly clean and the best equipped I have ever stayed in if you want to do your own cooking, and is kitted out with quality stuff that you would choose to have in your kitchen. Cling film/foil/baking paper/dishwashing tablets etc are all provided, plus a bottle of olive oil and a bottle of their lovely home made apple juice. The kitchen and downstairs living areas lead seamlessly into each other and onto the decking with very comfortable outside seating. The beds were very comfy with cotton bedding and plenty of towels. Very quiet location, but within 5mins driving of a pub at Bilsington which is highly recommended though we didn't try it. I can't recommend this house enough, and can't think of anything to improve it which has never happened before!

  The Oystercatcher was perfect in every way with its stylish décor and attention to detail. Everything has been thought of. I was particularly impressed with the butter knife and the rubber gloves! I’d taken my own but did not need them. The communication during our stay was very thoughtful. The information provided prior to our stay was extremely informative and the courtesy call before our holiday was a nice touch. The accommodation was in a perfect location and had everything we needed. The website was easy to follow and the information provided was clear. The photos of the accommodation looked extremely appealing and we were not disappointed. My initial phone call with Coquet Cottages was answered professionally and in a friendly manner and this was the case with all of my communication with the staff of Coquet Cottages. I can honestly say it was just perfect and made all the more special as this was our very first holiday with our new baby granddaughter. We will definitely be back.   We had an excellent stay at Trevarrow Coverack.We loved the natural feel of the village and the surrounding area.The beach was so convenient for the kids once we had learnt to navigate the rocks and set our watches for low tide.Trevarrow was a comfortable and convenient base to explore the Lizard & had enough space for all to enjoy.We especially enjoyed eating & drinking on the front overlooking the cove.A handy tip is to keep a look out for the fishing boats when they return to harbour to buy lobster crabs & fish - Incredible value and delicious as you can't get any fresher.Other highlights were eating at the New Yard Restaurant which delighted with superb food matched with excellent provenance & sustainable ethics, Dinner at The Bay Hotel where Sam Jones is a highly accomplished Chef and offers good value & of course Elizabeth's Cornish Pasties (about 10 doors down Elizabeth makes & sells pasties from her own home) which are a must!We found the housekeeper most helpful & responsive.Overall and excellent stay!

  This cottage was beautifully refurbished and well equipped. It is in a peaceful location, yet close to neighbouring towns for those days out. The lovely garden is a pleasure to relax in and is also a great space for young children or dogs to enjoy themselves. We stayed in blistering heat and found the cottage always lovely and cool, especially in the main living room. The extra benefit of having great stable broadband/Wi-Fi was a bonus for our two sons, who could game together of an evening whilst us adults could settle down to a Netflix film. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to family and friends. One last note is that if you are at the cottage and in the need for a decent portion of fish and chips, then the Bredon Village Fish & Chip shop is a must visit.
