What our customers say about their holidays

Beatiful setting and gardens The outdoor wooden room very comfy chairs great to sit in and read .
Very comfy bed.Overlong curtains caused an accident. .No comfortable chair To sit in to watch tv only wicker iron dining chairs covered by fluffy white sheepskins. After a day out I enjoy watching TV from a comfy chair and about 8 some nibbles.Idont.like watching TV from bed or eating snacks inbed but understand this is personal 7 sheepskins in an area you approximately 35 ft.by 10 feet to accommodate sleeping area dining and cooking including sidetables bookcase and bedside tables so small.Despite leaving switch on longer no water sufficiently hot to wash greasy dishes kept running cold as it did in bathroom sink.3 cupboards of China one narrow cupboard for food The shoser came apart on day 3 when I tried to cleansoap dish.slide doordoes not slide so water fromShower gets through. quite a space.storage.smallfridge although room for a taller one.Food storage difficult for 7 days yet alone nine. Cooking a faff as no hob or oven set up apart from microwave oven which was not cooking through properly have to set up equipment and store back. Again personal choice I'd provide Cornish scones from post office in pack rather than Lidle nationwide ones.A welcome binder would be really useful. Fresh flowers all around in garden but about five poor plastic plants in barn. Clothes washing difficult had to boil kettle for dishes and clothes couldnot find basket to carry clothes to line.

We have really enjoyed our stay at Bell Cottage.
Itâs countryside location is quiet and very peaceful, much appreciated after a day out and about among the crowds. The cottage is a very comfortable place to stay and it is evident that a lot of care and attention to detail has been taken to ensure that all we could wish for is provided. We appreciated the welcome touches of a box of fudge, biscuits, drink facilities and even the guest toiletries in the bathroom. Bell cottage is exceptionally clean and very well presented. The small garden area is ideal; we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine and our two dogs appreciated the freedom of a safe outdoor space. We would love to stay at Bell Cottage again in the future. Our thanks to Sue and Glen for being so welcoming and on hand.

Excellent cottage and a friendly welcome.
The human and dog welcome packs were above and beyond and much appreciated. The cottage was clean, light and airy and had an enclosed garden - perfect for the dog. The facilities were good and location was central to the areas we wanted to explore. The local pub (the Rod and Line) was also friendly and served good food. The only downside was the abundance of flies. There was no obvious source (bad smells for instance) but the presence of fly spray and a electric bug zapper suggests we weren't the first to have this issue. It didn't detract much from our stay though - it just meant we had to keep the bedroom door and window shut as much as possible. Overall - would definitely recommend.

We have enjoyed staying at the well appointed, comfortable bungalow, with fantastic views front and back, with it's own paddock, and cows munching the grass in the field next door.
Situated at the tip of the headland, Boscastle can be seen from the back windows, and for us townies it was amazing to see the mist drifting in from the sea while we were eating breakfast. Boscastle had everything we needed and we travelled to places of interest further south in an hour, but much nearer "home" also had lovely places to explore. Yes the mattress was a little harder than I am used to, but it certainly didn't stop a good night's sleep being had by all of us after an exhausting day sight seeing and the quietness of the surrounding area. The owners, Lisa and Daniel are lovely and very helpful. We will definately stay there again.

Fantastic holiday from the moment we had a call from the property owner beforehand with door code and excellent recommendations of places to visit with our dog Lola and best places to eat.
Arrived to find a gorgeous well proportioned bungalow with fantastic garden spaces and wonderful enclosed paddock for Lola to run free in. The bungalow was perfect for my elderly parents and every room was a great size. The tea, coffee, sugar, Cornish biscuits and milk were a welcome touch. It had everything in the kitchen we needed for any evening we decided to cook at home, great showers, comfortable beds, great views and Lisa and Dan were wonderful hosts. Our ages ranged from 50âs to over 90 and we all agreed it was a fantastic place to stay. We will be returning as soon as we can.
