What our customers say about their holidays

We had a great week at the Hideaway.
There were just a few things that could have made the holiday a little easier. The kitchen was adequate. Having stayed in a number if lodges it was surprising to find a small fridge and not a fridge/freezer. The small ice box at the top of the fridge was iced up and the little door would not close properly. There was a lack of baking trays in the lodge which made cooking challenging. There was a dishwasher but we didn't use if as there wasn't enough crockery for a full day's use. There was also a smell of dog urine in the small entrance hall, this was disguised by a very strong smelling air freshener when we arrived but became apparent after a day or 2. The furniture in the lounge was comfortable but a little dated, there was a very small arm chair that was low to the ground which once my father sat in (he is 87) it took two of use to get him out. All in all, the lodge just needs a bit of a make over and freshen up to bring it in line with the modern well equipped lodges that we are used to staying in.

The Shepherds Hut was very lovely, cosy and clean!
We couldnât quite believe how many facilities the hut had, and you had really thought of every little thing from towels to sugar! The Llamas outside were lovely, friendly, clearly happy and very well behaved, it was so nice to see them every morning when we woke up, something we donât see everyday! The whole site was clean and tidy and although there was lots of cottages that can be stayed in, we felt that at all times we had great privacy! As for surrounding areas, the local pub - The Huntsman Inn - was absolutely fantastic! Everyone was very welcoming, especially Zoe the manager. And being less than a couple minutes walk up the road made a nice night cap an easy task! There was tons of things to do in short distance from the hut including: wildlife parks, activity centres, castles, places to eat, super markets, take- aways and much much more!!

This hut is honestly one of a kind!
Everything about it is just beautiful, the look, the views, the little (very friendly) Alpacaâs that are only a few metres from the hut and the people in the village! The local pub, The Huntsman, is such a lovely place to socialise and eat. They also have darts and a pool table so there is plenty to do of an evening. The hut is 1 of 2 and there are some cottages on the property also, but plenty of parking and evening a small park area with swings and a slide for younger ones! The property is kept immaculate and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities in with hut are spot on! The shower is decent and the bathroom is a really fair size considering you are in a small space! The hut was very clean inside and out. This was the 2nd time we stayed at this hut and we will be back again in the future.

Absolutely shocking!
Tried to get money back but owners had plasters for every sore ! Advert very misleading. It was a grotty old caravan in someoneâs back garden! Not suitable for dogs as stated in the advert . Located at the bottom of a very steep hill on a very busy main road , not a short walk from the nearest shops / pubs as stated . You would be risking your life to veer onto the so called path !Infact place was a death trap ! Keep your money ! Stay AWAY!!! The inside of the caravan was dirty ! Walls in the advert weâre freshly painted. These were old photographs as every wall had damp marks on ! Whole place smelt of mould and damp ! I have been diagnosed with asthma, and had to use my ventolin pump on entry ! Floors were dirty , dirty water marks down the kitchen bin ! DISGUSTING

Hazel nook is a brilliant cosy little shepherds hut, clean and snug with great facilities.
I enjoyed an amazing mini break for my partners birthday there, situated close to many attractions and shops in narbeth and also saundersfoot and tenby. Loved the simple old fashioned decor. Loved the fact that there is no tv in sight to spoil the feel of the place. The bathroom door was a little fiddley and if your a taller person, bear in mind to duck under the bedroom door way, I didn't and got a couple of head bumps!! Other than door trouble, i had one of the most amazing times of my life staying at Hazel nook and highly recommend it, wouldn't often say this about a place but will consider going back next year maybe!
