Please note: There is a small pond in the garden, children must be supervised at all times. There are steps in the garden. This property has a security deposit of £250.. A three storey townhouse oozing quality and style. Situated on the first floor, the owners of this property have not spared any expense on the stunning kitchen diner, a perfect place to cook up a special meal whilst socialising with the rest of your group. The kitchen/dining area is open plan to the spacious lounge which benefits from a huge comfy corner sofa to relax in after a full day exploring the area, and there’s a Smart TV and gas fire to enjoy cosy evenings in. The large kitchen is fitted with top quality smeg appliances including two electric ovens, gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso Coffee Machine. Needless to say, if you love to cook and entertain, you will be in ’chef’ heaven in this space. The dining table is large enough to accommodate eight people comfortably. After dinner you may wish to retire to the balcony, directly off the lounge. The balcony is west facing to take advantage of the evening sun, perhaps whilst sipping your favourite tipple! You can even get a glimpse of Lake Windermere from here too! There is luxury double bedroom with en-suite shower room on the ground floor and an additional toilet. The garage also on the ground floor is accessible and has a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. There’s plenty of space to store your bikes, paddle board or canoe here too. If you would like to enjoy some additional outside space, perhaps where the children can play, there’s a patio area and small garden at the front of the house. There are three additional bedrooms to the second floor, the master suite is spacious with a super king size bed, quality bedding and an en-suite shower room with large walk in shower. There’s another luxurious double bedroom with storage and a good size twin bedroom with further storage. The family bathroom has the ’wow’ factor with a free standing bath, walk in shower, toilet and sink.

This property is perfectly placed to enjoy all that Bownesss-on-Windermere has to offer, including some of the Lake District’s finest attractions. Take a cruise on Lake Windermere to Ambleside or across to Lakeside to enjoy a day at The Aquarium or hop on the steam train to Haverthwaite. Alternatively, try your hand at sailing and hire your own boat for a few hours. Paddle boarding is also a popular activity on the lake, so if you have one, then it’s certainly worth bringing it along. Bowness-on-Windermere is also home to Beatrix Potter World and the wonderful Art Deco Royalty Cinema. If you’re feeling energetic, so many walks can be found nearby including ’Orrest Head’ in Windermere, a relatively short walk offering spectacular views over Lake Windermere. Some of the Lake District’s fantastic fells are a mere short drive away, as well as the small ’Alpine’ like village of Grasmere, where William Wordsworth is laid to rest at St. Oswald’s Church, and if you’re a fan of Gingerbread, a visit to Grasmere Gingerbread shop is a must!

    Lovely place to stay, very clean and comfortable. One little niggle, maybe some reading lights in the master bedroom. My husband was asleep before me and the light switch was on his side of the bed, so I had to get out if bed to turn off the light.
