The pretty and distinctly Derbyshire village of Tideswell sits in the heart of the White Peak, an area known for its dramatic scenery; cut among limestone, it is in an area of outstanding beauty. The village itself dates back to the 14th century, and boasts great local pubs, two restaurants, cafes, fish and chip shops, sandwich shops, as well as a butcher, baker and greengrocer. It is surrounded by must-visit towns. There are excellent walking routes with rugged peaks to the north, gentle hills and dales to the south and Millers Dale just 4 miles outside the village. Eyam, with its eery and fascinating history of being “The Plague Village” sits just 5 miles to the East of Tideswell. Chatsworth House, Mam Tor and Castleton are within 11 miles and the popular spa town of Buxton is an 8 mile trip.
The house has a modern and stylish interior, whilst still retaining features, decor and furnishings that complement the age and style of the property. Antiques blend with beautiful paint colours, quality furniture and soft furnishings and impressive artwork all work together to create a comfortable, unique and practical space to enjoy.
