Such a lovely cottage!!! We really enjoyed our stay here, everything about it was perfect! It was so clean and well presented and it’s also in a really convenient location to all walks and places we were visiting. The hot tub was great and it was nice how it was in a room in the garden, it felt like you were at a spa which was perfect after a long day of hiking! The games room was also great for evenings in, we loved playing darts! The welcome basket with prosecco and biscuits was also a lovely touch - thank you!! Would highly recommend this holiday cottage! The owners were very helpful too if we had a question ☺️

We have just got back from a weeks stay at High Peak Retreat. We had a wonderful time. The property was immaculate and really well presented. The owners have thought of everything. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable and bathrooms extremely clean. The garden was really private and not overlooked. Hot tub got well used & our boys loved the pool table and dart board in the games room. Would definitely recommend 👌

We booked this at short notice,and then were immediately informed by the owner that it was already booked for the first 2 days of our stay! After complaining, we eventually received a refund. The house is small and on an estate in Harpur Hill, about 3 miles from Buxton.The house is well presented, the kitchen is well equipped, with a gas hob, large fridge freezer and full size dishwasher.The hot tub is excellent.Having stayed in many Cottages.com properties in the last few years, we felt this property was overpriced.
