Electric vehicle charging is not permitted at the property!. Come and get away from it all at this fantastic location within the foothills of the Brechfa Forest. Pwll Farmhouse is a gorgeous detached farmhouse which has been lovingly restored back to its former glory by the owner who lives nearby. Pwll Farmhouse is set on the original farmyard adjacent to another stone-built cottage and offers the perfect space for friends and family to come together. Each room has been lovingly furnished to a very high standard, the open plan kitchen/dining room is finished with shaker style kitchen units, a large range cooker which is perfect for cooking that special meal and is the perfect social room. The spacious living room boasts a wood burner which is perfect for lighting on an evening and relaxing with a good movie. Each large bedroom has been thoughtfully furnished to an excellent standard with high ceilings, and the master bedroom has the convenience of en-suite facilities and even a feature fireplace.
Pwll Farmhouse is surrounded by rolling hills, meadow land, forestry and the meandering Afon Gwili running through this spectacular valley. It is situated off a quiet country lane and is around 3 miles from the activity village of Brechfa, made famous for its outdoor activities, with mountain biking, pony trekking, bird watching and miles of walking trails available for all abilities. With so much on your doorstep, there’s plenty to choose from and you can also enjoy some home cooked produce from the village pub and try some locally brewed ales.
The market town of Llandeilo, a 20-minute drive away, is well worth a visit, where you can stroll around this historic town. Enjoy meandering around antique and gift shops and enjoy a treat or two in one of the local coffee shops. A few minutes from Llandeilo is the National Botanical Gardens of Wales with Europe’s largest single span glasshouse, sure to make for an interesting day out. Beach 18 miles. Shop, restaurant and pub 3 miles.

Great cottage.Needs a little fixes here and there, but for an old cottage, I can understand.All beds were comfortable.Rooms lovingly presented, loads of books and games if needed.Smart TV with all usual.Loved the range cooker.Mabli the collier cross was so friendly and by day 3 couldn't say no to her to play fetch with a stick.Had some lovely fresh eggs from the resident Hens list mornings.Location is great for a quiet away time, lovely forest walks near to cottage so no need to go further afield if you are tiered.Carmarthen only a 20 Min drive so perfect for main shopping.Didn't do our usual Supermarket home delivery this time, but a visit to town no Biggie.Our Host Lucy was lovely and responsive with any queries.Cottage was lovely and warm and we were able to adjust heating to our liking.The spring drinking water was lovely as usual as is in most cottages in Wales.Puts our City water to shame.🫣Look forward to our next trip next year God Willing.

Beautiful home and wonderful hosts! The kids had lots of fun, mabli was wonderful with the children and made my 5 year old who is scared of dogs just want to play with her. So so grateful. The boys loved collecting the chicken eggs in the morning with daddy. Lots of things to do within a few miles. Loved the home and the fire was amazing! Weather wasn’t the best but we made the most of it! Thank you so much for having us
