The stunning Gower Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its sandy beaches, bays and coves is easily reached. Within easy driving are the National Botanical Gardens and Aberglasney Gardens. Shop and pub ½ mile, restaurant 200 yards.

The view of the estuary is fabulous and you are right on the coastal footpath and millennium path. This is a wide tarmac foot and cycle path that goes for 11 miles. There are lots of things to do in the area. Anywhere in the Gower is less than an hour by car. There's a cinema in the town for rainy days. There are 2 nice restaurants within 10min walk. However the apartment wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The super king bed was good (apart from the sheet wouldn't stay on), but one of the single beds, you could feel the springs in the mattress. The apartment was a little worn in a few areas. The apartment is very atmospheric when a storm hits and we saw a lovely sunset (both the living room and main bedroom have estuary views).

Lovely place, amazing view. We used this as a base to travel by car to the NBGW, Swansea, and Oxwich bay. The flat is within easy walking distance of the station and we took the Train to Carmarthen one day. I would recommend that as the you can see the flat from the railway line and made it special for the kids. The beach is enough for the kids for a few hours and the walk to Pwll is a nice way to have a non car day. Llanelli has plenty of shops buy what ever you need so the location was exactly what we needed. You can walk to a convenience store in under 10 mins also. The flat only loses a tiny amount of "stars" so maybe a 4.6 as the kitchen was looking a bit worse for wear, the sinks had some tricks to not get the floor covered in water (you could see that this had happened a few times because the laminate was coming away on the units) but we got used to it. The assortment of pans and trays ranged from MASSIVE to teeny tiny which made organising the hob and oven a bit more of an issue, but there was a range unlike some places I have stayed. All rooms were clean and comfy and the art work was definitely a talking point. We holidayed with another family who stayed in the flat over the corridor which made the stay extra special. One thing to add is that this is not a 6 guest property. There is only one bed in the smallest bed room. Fully enjoyed the break, owner was very helpful with all my contacts over the break, hoping to book again in the future.
