With a charming country style and quirky touches throughout, family and friends coming to stay at this large cottage will feel instantly at home. Located within a large expanse of private grounds, you’ll have a wonderful time walking through the woodlands and beside streams right on your doorstep. Adventure awaits at every corner of Snowdonia National Park, with Zip World less than 2 miles away for a whole host of activities for all ages from ziplining to trampolining in caves!
Gather your loved ones together in the cosy living room to catch up whilst you all sink into the comfortable leather sofas around the fire. With a large bright window, this room is filled with natural light in the day and has a charming glow in the evening from the wood burner. The kitchen is bright and colourful, with a gorgeous solid wood table seating 14 at its centre for indulgent meals and competitive afternoons spent playing board games. Five of the seven bright and airy bedrooms are found in the main house, two of which are furnished with king-size zip-and-link beds and located on the ground floor for ease of access. Upstairs on the first floor, the family room has both a single bed and a king-size bed, great for those with young children, as well as an en-suite. In addition, there is a king-size bedroom and a single bedroom which complete the main house. Tucked away in the annexe are a further two tastefully decorated king-size bedrooms offering additional peace and quiet. On sunny days, you can sit out on the private balcony and gaze over the woodland setting listening to the birds and bees in this majestic setting, or head out to explore the grounds surrounding this characterful cottage.
Lovers of local history will enjoy a visit to Penrhyn Castle (5 miles) and Caernarfon Castle (13 miles) to delve into the past of the local area. Visit Llyn Padarn (8 miles) to try your hand at a number of water sports such as paddleboarding and kayaking in a truly beautiful area whilst those less keen to hop in the water can enjoy a leisurely walk around the perimeter. If you’re in search of a challenge, why not climb to the summit of Wales’s highest mountain, Snowdon? The views from the summit are awe-inspiring and offer a fantastic reward after a steep hike.
