  A lovely bright colour scheme make this apartment welcoming. The bedroom is calming and all windows in the apartment have shutters which gives it a new England feel. The bathroom has a drench shower which is perfect and then you look into the lounge and wow!! The kitchen has everything you need , absolutely everything. Again it has a new England feel and straight ahead the view from the French doors hits you! As you are up higher than the houses in front of you, you see Carbis Bay in all of its glory. You can see all of the coves in the distance like Porthkidney sands and various others that i can't name and you can watch the waves crashing into the rocks. You can see Godrevy lighthouse and watch the train below you snaking through the trees and disappearing into the tunnel. There is always something to see and it is ever-changing. There is a communal garden for the flats that you can sit in and enjoy the Peace. There are many different walks to Carbis bay, St. Ives, Lelant and others. You can walk from the apartment past the communal garden and down into Carbis bay. It takes 10 minutes or so. The View was lovely to stay in, comfortable, warm and cosy, beautiful views and with everything you could ask for. We loved it so much we are already booking for next year. 😀

  The BEST staycation! This place more than lived up to our expectations. The cabin was one of 2 around the same large pond, but you can't see or hear the other guests somehow? We found it incredibly private and relaxing, the ducks as our only company. They are bold and fearless, they did invite themselves into the cabin when we left the door open while hot tubbing and left us a lovely green present on the floor! The hot tub was absolutely lush, though it did take us a while to get used to it - it needs a LOT of wood, as the instructions said! The cabin was so comfortable, the bed was INSANE in a good way and the cabin itself wasn't too small. The land is literally in the middle of nowhere, head to the nearby town of Newport for a touch of civilisation, the other little towns are really out of touch and nothing in them worth visiting... The literal only thing I can complain about is that the listing did say toiletries were included, but there were none. There was a slither of soap left in the handwash bottle, no bath/shower toiletries - so make sure you bring your own.

  Seagull's nest is a hidden gem on the cliff top.

  The property is well looked after and is furnished to a high standard. It has everything you need; the shortcut to the beach was particularly handy, as were the body boards in the shed (we used these instead of ours because they were better than the ones we brought with us!). The washer was also a welcome treat. One thing we noticed was that there have been some improvements to the property which aren't shown on the pictures (such as the steel hand rail) and it would be worthwhile perhaps updating these on the website. The other thing that would be helpful is directions from the cliff path as we went past the chalet a couple of times before we found it. No complaints, we would definitely recommend!   This was our honeymoon stay and we'd put a lot of time and effort into making sure we found the perfect location. We definitely did! The View had everything we could have hoped for (not least - THE VIEW!) Such a great location and a great house from which to explore. Recommend Beck's Fish & Chips, a short walk away (especially if you are gluten-free- lots of options). Also recommend The Ugly Butterfly if you're after a 'once in a lifetime' experience and The Beach Club restaurant as well. Lots of great local touches and we were grateful for the welcome pack too. Your property made our honeymoon perfect - Thank you!
