  Lovely ground floor light and airy apartment for 2 Lovely contemporary decor Quality fixtures and fittings kitchen area is small but nicely planned out - enough equipment for basic cooking , although why would you on holiday! Nice coffee machine Clean comfortable and good use of space Nice courtyard garden Apartment is in a great location opposite a green and church - very pretty Able to park easily in road outside Short walk to pub /town/ beach Would definitely book again Light, contemporary decor Warm and comfortable Quality fixtures and fittings , enough kitchen equipment for basic cooking - although why would you on holiday! Nice coffee machine Milk in fridge and hamper goodies , nice touch Short walk to pubs/ town centre. / beach - nothing is far away Position opposite a little green and church very pretty Able to park easily outside Lovely courtyard garden with seating Would definitely stay again

  This was not our first stay or our last as we intend to return annually at about this time. There are only 2 of us so the space and facilities of the flat are, for us, excellent. The sea views from the kitchen and living room and 2 of the 3 bedrooms are spectacular and the little reading room balcony overlooks the prom and the sea. The sandy Southwold beach is literally across the road. It is a short walk to all the pubs and shops of Southwold. There is no private parking but on street parking is readily available outside of the big holiday periods.Quite frankly as a sea view apartment for 2 No. 9 The Craighurst is unbeatable. It would also work well for parents with 2 young children. There are stairs with 2 flights from the front door to the bedrooms and bathrooms and 1 to the living spaces and the single bathroom including WC. We would find it difficult if there were more than 2 adults sharing the single bathroom.

  Lovely property across from the church. The property was very pet friendly with an enclosed yard and the church green straight across the road. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Parking is not provided and you have to park on the roadside but there is a free car park on York road which you can park on until the day visitors have left if you can’t find a space. All the amenities in Southwold is within easy walking distance from the accommodation & you can use the footpath through the church yard which takes you straight into town. Would recommend The Canteen a couple of doors up from ‘Half Pint’ lovely food and also dog friendly as is the majority of pubs and cafes in the town. Would definitely recommend Half Pint when staying in Southwold

  I reported last year that the bathroom radiator was not heating. It still isn't ! Having only one key for a flat that holds six people is not sensible. In theory the last person out each day could use the key safe but it is exposed to the North Sea and does not work smoothly. In previous years we have always had two keys. Neither the outer front door nor the bathroom door will stay closed unless locked. Both used to work properly.

  We were delighted with our imaginatively designed flat; stylish and comfortable. It was in the perfect location, opposite a Green and impressive Church with the sea and pretty prom at the end of the road, the town with fascinating buildings, history, excellent pubs, restaurants and interesting shops, 5 mins. walk! Yet, very peaceful. Lots to explore in the area. Ideal place for a holiday.
