  Beautiful, cozy and comfortable cottage. It would not suit everyone as it has steep uneven steps that the photos do not portray. There are no rails and at night the light would not show up the top to guide you down. There is a drop by the door at the side of the steps that both dogs and children could easily fall from. There is a gate that goes over the top between the wall. It does not fit well, but does enclose the top grassed garden area. Beds were comfy and kitchen had all you needed. It could do with a proper curtain or blind in the double bedroom as the sun wakes you up early in the morning. The cottage was well equipped and in a good location. You need to be good at reversing and parking as the parking area is quite tight and involves a few maneuvers to get in/out. There are some amazing walks on the doorstep. It is ideal for exploring the gardens of Cornwall and easily assessable for beaches. There are so many beaches, gardens and pubs that are dog friendly. There is a lovely dining room as you enter the cottage that is fab for taking coats, boots and drying the dog before going into the lounge. Most definitely be aware of the steps before booking, especially if dark evenings and wet weather are predicted.

  The cottage was beautifully presented inside and out, warm and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and having milk in the fridge on arrival and items on the welcome tray was kind and thoughtful. The location was familiar to us - it is outstanding for walks from the door and within a short drive. It was lovely to return from a walk to a warm cottage and sit outside enjoying the sunshine. The double bedroom was spacious with far reaching views. The mezzanine floor above was a pleasure to use - it's a great space to escape to read a book. Our holiday was excellent in every respect and we would definitely stay here again if we revisited the area. The booking process was easy to use and direct contact with Mandy was also easy.

  Great week staying at 6 Tibby’s Way. Really comfy beds with mattress toppers, nice cotton bedding and thick towels. Pleased to find fans as we were so lucky with great weather. Perfect spot for taking small people to the children’s play area (less than a minutes’s walk); popping into the High Street or nipping to the beach and Pier and all that is on offer at that end of town. Adnams shop and cafe on your doorstep but do check out The Canteen at the Old Hopsital for fabulous food (less than 5 minutes walk away) and a bit of an oasis in the hurly burly of Southwold in the summer.

  The property is very tastefully decorated, it has almost everything you would need. The welcome pack was gratefully received too. The outdoor space is perfect for the dogs, it is enclosed by short wire fencing so they are secure. The parking spaces are a bonus. You are tucked away enough to enjoy the quiet whilst being a short drive to lots of busy seaside resorts. Our dogs are older so the walks were shorter, but there are plenty of places straight out of your front gate for lovely walks.

  Gorgeous, spacious & peaceful. Please note there is only 1 toilet, which is in the bathroom, should anyone be using the shower/bath and the door doesn't close easily. There is no privacy when at the dining table end if the room from the joined nextdoor barn, just plain glass partition, no blinds. The back bedroom 'Emma' super king-size bed is out if this world (yes, I had to look to find the label) never slept so well! Please, a non dribble teapot would be fab!! Had a wonderful time!
