Little Duck Cottage. Cosy holiday cottage in country village very near Scarborough, the coastal path and the seaside. Three bedrooms (one with a double bed, one family room with a double and a single, one with a single), travel cot, gas central heating. Living room with two comfortable leather sofas, one armchair, and open fireplace, tv, freeview, DVD player, dining table and chairs. Well equipped breakfast kitchen. Sunny private garden with garden furniture. Country views over fields. Sparkling bathroom with Mira Azora shower over bath. All beds made up with fresh cotton bedlinen, duvets, blankets, pillows and soft white towels supplied. Garage, parking. Easy walking distance to two village pubs serving excellent food, garden centre, village shop, petrol station. Lovely countryside, coastal and clifftop waking on the doorstep.

Golden sandy beaches at Scarborough's North and South Bay. Closest sandy beach - North Bay. Peasholm Park, Open Air Theatre, Alpamare water park, Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough Castle all around 3 miles. Surfing in Scarborough's North and South Bays.

Walk from the doorstep down Rocks Lane behind the pubs through the fields to the sea at Burniston Rocks - about 1.5 miles from the cottage. This is a rocky beach where you might find dinosaur footprints between the rockpools. (You can also drive almost all the way down the lane and park a short distance from the beach). Steep steps down to the beach. Other rocky beaches locally including Cloughton and Hayburn Wyke. Join the Cleveland Way on the cliffs above the beaches, or walk the old railway line (Cinder Track) which runs from Scarborough to Whitby.
