  We enjoyed our stay at Sunny Cottage, great location for pubs that all serve food, and the river walk right from the doorstep of the cottage. We have visited Warkworth many times and have been to most of the beaches in the surrounding areas, and Warkworth beach is our favourite. Craster is worth a visit, a little harbour village. We had a nice walk to Dunstanburgh Castle, beautiful views, and also had some smoked kippers from The Smoke House. The weather has been splendid, and it’s been nice to sit in the sun room for my morning brew. Thank you to Coquet Cottages for the much-appreciated and enjoyed welcome hamper and flowers. We are sorry to be leaving but knowing we will be returning makes it a little easier! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cottage. The cottage was very clean, warm with lamps on for us on arrival, a very cosy feel!

  Despite the lesser spotted sun, we have all enjoyed a family holiday in this lovely villa with such stunning views. Our 18-month old and 4 year old have loved watching the birds, boats, horses and train-spotting as well as treasure hunting and paddling at the beach. We’ve had a great time visiting Warkworth Castle, Alnwick Gardens (brilliant fun in the water features!), Lilidorei, Northumberland Zoo and White House Farm in Morpeth, with a fabulous potting barn, bird show, handling sessions, soft play and so much more. Our favourite meal was at The Whittling House in Alnmouth. Thank you for such a well presented and equipped villa with comfortable beds and immaculately clean. We really hope to return.

  Good central Alnwick location, comfy beds with fresh linen and nice towels. However, dingy entrance and main living areas with an all-pervading unpleasant smell. In need of a deep clean (cobwebs, mould, had to clean remains of a curry out of microwave), furniture shabby, needs new toilet seat that fits correctly, new tea towels - those provided were threadbare and didn't look clean -; window in main bedroom cracked, bright light from outside shone in around shutters. Overall very disappointed. This was a holiday with my 82 year old Mum who has always wanted to visit Northumberland. A special time away with my Mum - such a shame that the accommodation was so disappointing.

  This was our third visit to this amazing property. We love this spacious property, which is tastefully decorated and is in a great location, close to shops bars and restaurants. It is just a few minutes walk to the harbour and the sea. We like the open plan kitchen/dining/lounge which has a fantastic view of the Marina. I liked the fresh flowers and wine. I have already recommended all the properties we have stayed in over the last 10 years visiting with Coquet. Our friends have visited this property twice and the similar ones on offer at this location.

  Breakwater is a fantastic property, as described! Very clean and tidy throughout. The welcome pack was very useful and there was plenty information provided. The view from Breakwater made this apartment more appealing to us than others and the location in Amble, for handiness for everything being within walking distance. Compared to other holiday companies your information and regular contact are very good. The online property description is extremely detailed and the Matterport was fantastic!
