  It is everything that others have said and a whole lot more... It’s quite simply a beautiful place and location, home from home... There is literally everything that you could possibly want or need... Where do I start... The hot tub... fantastic and private! The kitchen... spotless, well laid out, everything you need Shower room... spotless, large and endless toiletries and two bath robes Outside toilet... spotless and perfect BBQ hut, however it looks in the photos, doesn’t do it justice… it’s quite simply a stunning place... and much larger than you think from the outside. Again, everything you could wish for plus so many little romantic touches... The railway carriage... spacious, warm, clean, well laid out, with a small kitchen and toilet with wash basin... The outside space... beautiful views and many seats/benches... Jeannie the Owner and Host... warm, friendly, non-intrusive and sooooo helpful... a wonderful lady that really does add so much.   We loved our stay at Nirvana. The separate units are all beautifully laid out and appointed. Jeannie & Will were super friendly & have tried to think of everything. We particularly liked sitting in the hot tub looking out at the lovely view, but also cooking steak over the fire in the barbecue hut and wandering around the 100-acre farm. We saw one of the local herds of wild deer and hearing them at dawn & dusk was magical. We cycled the Grand Western Canal, ambled through Dulverton, marvelled over the age of the Tarr Steps and explored the house & gardens of Knightshayes. The Stoodleigh Inn (open Thu - Sun) was very welcoming & Liz cooked for us when she was on her own. We love exploring different places, but this is definitely on our list to return to and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fantastic place to unwind and relax while still being able to visit interesting local places.   We couldn't have asked for better! We booked to go to Nirvana as our mini-moon the weekend after we got married to prolong the 'wedding bubble' and we're so glad we did. Everything there was perfect, including things that most holiday stay owners wouldn't even think of. Jeannie was so friendly and welcoming and left us a lovely little welcome hamper with prosecco as she knew we were there following our wedding. She also left us 2 bars of hand-decorated honeymoon chocolate which was such a nice touch. The weather was perfect for our first 2 days, so we enjoyed the peace and quiet and going into the local town. The 3rd day was raining, but we enjoyed spending time in the railway carriage and the BBQ hut - even used the hot tub in the rain which was very relaxing. I could go on and on, as there were so many great aspects to this trip. We will definitely be going again - have already started planning what we'll do on our next visit.

  We loved our stay at the Lakeside Cabin.

  The owner Rob and his son made us very welcome.The tackle shop onsite was very reasonably priced with a very good range of products .The trout were beautiful, great fighters and in very good condition, all credit to Rob's management. The grounds are gorgeous, peaceful with plenty of wildlife to see, deer, kingfishers, sparrow hawks, buzzards etc.The cabin was simple, clean , cosy and warm, good water pressure and hot water on demand (it might be time to upgrade the mattress as the bed was pretty hard).Limited mobile phone reception but possible in the cabin doorway and grounds. Easy drive to the coast (Seaton tram ride and Beer worth a visit )and well worth joining The National Trust pre trip for other local attractions. Overall, we had a great time, Rob was always on hand if required providing expert fishing advice and top tips for the local area. We look forward to returning in the near future.   We had an amazing stay at Jeannie’s over Christmas! The place was beautifully decorated for the season, making it feel extra cozy and festive. It had everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to a comfortable bed, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. What truly made our stay special, though, was Jeannie. She was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. From providing local recommendations to checking in to make sure we were comfortable, her hospitality made all the difference. She was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely thoughtful. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Overall, our Christmas getaway was perfect, and we’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-maintained place to stay.
