  Honeybee Cottage is located on a quiet road by the river in Warkworth. With a stunning location and beautiful decor it is more than just a home from home. Being a dog owner it is a real treat and privilege to be able to access and enjoy luxury cottages of this high standard. The attention to detail from Coquet Cottages especially all the little bee references from the door knocker to the cushions will have you looking up interior Knick knacks for your own home. This was our 3rd stay in a Coquet property and they do not disappoint. The welcome hamper for both us and the dog was much appreciated. Honeybee Cottage is decorated to a high specification with an exquisite kitchen and wood burning fire in the front room for the winter months. The 2 bedrooms were spacious, both with decent sized bathrooms. Warkworth is such a gorgeous village with a real welcoming vibe, with Bertrams offering delicious homemade cakes and the chance to pick up some art from Fenwick Gallery. In addition, you have to access to the Northumberland Coast which you might want to keep secret as it is so beautiful. Thank you Coquet Cottages and keep doing what you’re doing, escaping the ordinary is so much fun with you.

  WOW Honeybee cottage. What can we say about our wonderful stay. From the moment we saw the cottage it had the WOW factor then when we stepped inside it has the most fabulous interior and beautiful furnishings. We were very much at home. From the thoughtful Welcome hamper and even one for our miniature schnauzer to the sumptuous bedding and fluffy towels I felt like I was a guest in a friends house. We were torn over where to sit as the space in the kitchen was so comfortable. We sat listening to music and reading most nights but we did tear ourselves away for a movie night in the beautiful lounge one evening. The cottage is in a wonderful location and we have only just scratched the surface of this wonderful coastline. We enjoyed hours of walking on Warkworth beach and breakfasts/brunch at Bertram’s which is a must. We would have no hesitations about booking again and are already planning our next stay. Thank you Coquet for restoring our faith in a holiday company you really do go the extra mile and I can’t stop talking about you with my friends and customers.

  We have been coming to Warkworth for many years now and always stay in a Coquet Cottages property. This time we are in Honeybee which has been available since October 2018. It is, without a shadow of doubt, the best we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail, the quality of the soft furnishings and the location suits us right down to the ground. The housekeeping is of the highest standard too, all very mod cons in the kitchen especially the induction hob which is very user friendly. The “pots and pans” are of the highest quality as is everything else. We saw it as a “shell” and the transformation to how it is now is truly amazing. This is the twentieth occasion that we have stayed in a Coquet Cottage but Honey Bee ticks all our boxes. We have always loved Warkworth but now love it even more. I cannot recommend this property highly enough…

  Just got home from our holiday staying at Honeybee Cottage in Warkworth. Ideally placed overlooking the river Coquet is this fantastic newly renovated cottage. Boutique in style yet not losing the original cottage character, it is sumptuous, luxuriously furnished throughout, large additional room at the rear housing kitchen, lounge, dining area and downstairs cloakroom. Luxury toiletries throughout, two large en suite bedrooms and very comfy beds and bedding. Very generous welcome pack including flowers and everything to settle straight in. Even the dog had her own pack. Gleaming and spotlessly clean throughout. Beach, restaurants, pubs, hotel and shops all within easy walking distance. We have been to Warkworth for the last 5 years and stayed with Coquet Cottages each time, all cottages are lovely but Honeybee is a little bit special.
