We had a lovely stay at Aelwyd Y Don from start to finish, we have never been to this part of Wales before but this stay has definitely made us want to revisit the area.
The bungalow was so welcoming and comfortable, with amazing views and a lovely welcome basket (even treats for the dog). The bungalow is well looked after, we were a family of four adults, two children and a very well behaved Greyhound we had so much room and we could escape from each other if needed. We met cows, badgers, lots of birds and many more rabbits whilst staying here these were spotted from the quiet garden at the back and the side balcony. The beach and The Ship Inn pub in Tresaith was amazing although the walk down the hill is short the walk back up was quite a challenge. The pub gets very busy so you need to book in advance. The food was great and the views even better. We visited the beach three times during our stay and even managed to see the waterfall on foot and by paddleboard when the tide was in. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to visit in the future.

We had an absolutely lovely time at this great hide away in St Dogmaels.
Really comfortable house with great access to the beach and the shops. Everything was provided and of great quality. Plenty of space for a family meal in the lovely kitchen. The beds were super comfy. We chose for our 2 and 4 year old to share, but thereâs plenty of beds to give everyone a room. In the village thereâs a wonderful fish and chip shop and a local store with plenty of selection. We chose to eat out in Aberteifi, which is only a 5 minute drive. The beach is stunning! Lovely soft sand with masses of open space. Thereâs also a really quality café in the car park. Added bonus of being able to watch the lifeboat crew practicing! Highly recommend!

The cottage is lovely and in a great location for short drives to different beaches and little seaside towns.
On arrival we spent 4 hours cleaning which was disappointing, It hadnât been hoovered (disgustingly there were toe nail clippings behind the sofa near the front door), the pots, pans, cups and cutlery needed washing before we could use; the floors downstairs not mopped and had dirty shoe prints, dog poop in the garden that hadnât been picked up, really dusty in most places. Hot tub was a nice touch but could not be used the first two days as it was cold and not ready on arrival.

A spacious and beautiful house , close to beach -where we enjoyed warm days on beach & a beach BBQ .
The pub is great too . The coastal path is on the doorstep and we have an amazing walk to Aberporth which is one of our favourite places. The property was clean and comfortable and we loved the open plan lounge/dinning room and large hall/snug. Gorgeous views of the sea and many dolphins were spotted . Lovely host left a welcome basket and we had a bottle of local gin !!! Ideally places to explore the Cardigan area .

Fantastic holiday home.
5 minute walk to the beach and some lovely coastal walks. The house itself was beautiful, the sea views were amazing. The facilities were excellent with lots of extra touches that made this feel very special. We only stayed 3 nights but wish weâd stayed a bit longer now. Highly recommended.
