  Shellseekers is a comfortable, warm and welcoming house, and it was reasonably clean. The kitchen was well equipped, with a gas hob, a double oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher & washing machine. We tended to use the en-suite bathroom because of the shower cubicle, & the showers were excellent. We found the beds a little uncomfortable, but we understand that beds are very much a personal choice on softness/firmness.Make sure you take washing up liquid, hand wash & toilet roll, because there was very little left for us, but fortunately we always bring these with us just in case.There is a similar theme in most of the cottages we rent (2-3 a year) , and that is the poor cleanliness of the washing machine and dishwasher. We always have to do a cleaning cycle for both machines, and clean the filters. We even had to descale the kettle. These things should and could be done during the clean between rentals.It is well situated in a quiet close, with very good walks almost on the doorstep. We recommend the Ken Hill circular walk, and the walk to Dersingham. Sandringham is worth a visit to see the beautiful Church, walk around the estate. Holkham and Hunstanton beaches are beautiful, even when it was breezy.Snettisham is a pretty village with lots of ducks waddling around. There are 2 pubs, the Queen Victoria and the Rose & Crown, and both are dog friendly , and have a decent choice of beers. There is also an extremely popular coffee shop ,and a good local Co-op store.All in all , it was a good weeks holiday, and we were fortunate to have a reasonably dry week. We would recommend Sunseekers as a comfortable base to relax and experience everything Norfolk has to offer.

  Thank you for accommodating us at short notice after our original cottage was flooded. Whilst not in the area of Norfolk we planned to go (Potter Heigham), we loved exploring Snettisham, Heacham, Hunstanton & holme beaches. The local woods were SO lovely for dog walking. We found it best to go in the car - just a 2 m in drive to the car park on the bend on Beach Rd. Having 2 dogs and 3 children, crossing the busy road was not an option so ruled out walking from the property directly. We used a pet sitter to stay with the dogs to allow us to have freedom to go out without the dogs, great particularly as we had a heat wave so didn't have ato worry about them! Again, thanks for agreeing to letting us do this. We love the comfort of the house and would happily stay again. Holme beach - beautiful expanse of beach, sand dunes & so quiet. Snettisham woods 1 Ken Hill - could spend all day there. Eating out at the Rose & Crown - amazing food, bit pricey but worth it. Bircham windmill - spent the afternoon there. The children bakes bread and loved the activities there!! Elsie @ The Pet Companion to dog sit at the house.

  “We stayed at the Crows nest between Xmas and New Year and couldn't have asked for more from this little getaway. The bungalow was perfect for the 4 of us and 1 dog. The location is great as the beaches are all on your doorstep. Brancaster Beach is 5 min drive away and was truly breathtaking. We regularly walked to the creek along the beach to see the seals. There is a local shop around the corner so you can get all your extras from there. We ordered a Sainsbury's delivery to arrive the first evening which worked well. My only suggestion for those looking at the area is to book nice restaurants and pubs in advance as we struggled to find any availability as it was so busy. We went to the Jolly Sailor pub which is a first come first serve pub and it was always packed. The Mermaids Fish & Chip shop in Burnham Market was great for last minute food. A great bungalow in the perfect location. Would strongly recommend.”

  This was our second stay at the property and we were again happy with the facilities and comfort. I don't think we have been in a property as spotlessly clean as this one. The lack of a welcome pack, even just a carton of milk removes the personal touch that we have experienced in other properties. However the location of the Deepdale Store and cafe, just a few minutes walk away was really useful. The pop-up shops in the same location were also interesting. The front garden was way overgrown and made the path around to the back of the house to collect the keys, difficult to negotiate. The rear lawn also needed mowing, but it was secure for our dog. Overall though, we had a very pleasant stay.

  Wells beach is amazing for walks and 'bucket + spade' visits - parking & facilities very close, lovely cafe + ice cream. Holkham beach stunning, just a long walk from the parking, but worth a visit.We also enjoyed a boat trip from Blakeney Point to see the seals. Sandringham is a lovely day out, parking is included if you buy tickets for the house and gardens.We spent a rainy day at Hunstanton - the sea life centre was enjoyed by the teenagers, adventure golf good fun and a quick visit to the arcades to spend some pocket money.The house has been a lovely base for the 4 of us, very well equipped and comfy. The ducks have amused us too!
