What our customers say about their holidays

First impressions were âWow!
â This place is amazing and even better than the photos. The gardens are perfect for strolling around and playing with the dogs. Farm animals all around which was lovely and the sound of running water from the beck adjoining the lodge. Inside, absolutely loved the decor, beautiful pictures and hangings on walls and high standard of charming furnishings. Not usually such high quality in rentals. Hot tub was fab. A welcome card, bottle of Prosecco and my favourite chocs just topped it off! Had a text off Andra to say the lodge was ready for us half an hour earlier which was really helpful and communication with our hosts was very good. The only thing negative about our weekâs stay was the gas company was working with pneumatic drills at the Holiday Park just across the beck from 9am each weekday, but of course this was totally unforeseeable and out of the control of our hosts and did not stop us from loving this place. We had a wonderful relaxing and fun time here and would like to thank Andra and Chris for such a beautiful place for us to experience and would really like to return.

Spent a wonderful three nights at The Warren as a family of four plus a dog.
The lodge exceeded our expectations which were already high from the photos online, but seeing it in person gave the wow factor - how clean everything was and the layout, space and little touches like lots of DVDs, books, toys and board games as well as cleaning products, hand soap, cushions and blankets. It wasn't advertised on the listing but there was a washer-drier too which was really useful to clean clothes after our long daily walks. The bath was very welcome to soak aching muscles after long walks! We loved the selection of games and enjoyed playing them after our evening meals. We arranged for Asda to deliver saving us time and hassle of going to a supermarket, giving us more time to relax. We did have to let them in at the gate which is a bit of a walk, but it was worth it for the convenience of the delivery. The holiday park was quiet and clean. We didn't visit bar because we were quite happy in the lodge in the evenings. We were perfectly comfortable for our stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back if we wanted to visit the area again.

Fox Cottage is set in a peaceful and beautiful location yet within short car journey to a lovely village pub and shops in Settle. It's simple structure blends well into the hillside and the open plan interior is both stylish and comfortable. Light streams in through the large patio windows and the views are amazing. A curious hare came up on the patio to gaze in at us on the first evening. The kitchen area was fully equipped with good quality appliances, tools, spices, washing machine and dishwasher tablets etc. The second bedroom was able to be made up into a twin bedded room. We didn't use the outside gas B B Q, but it looked very impressive. Plenty of outdoor seating to relax on. Toweling robes were provided for the hot tub and sauna, both of which were amazing. An outside dog shower and towel was by the front door.. The weather was great but even had not been, there are board games, books, television, wifi etc. and Fox Cottage itself helped to make our holiday so special, we had a lovely time.

We've just returned from a 4 night break at the Cedar cabin, family of 4 (kids aged 2 and 5).
They loved the little play area and just the vast area they had to run around, it felt very safe for them. The cabin itself is nice and cosy but feel it needs a little updating, and a good clean! There was a lot of dust on top of the doors and down the sides of the bed, and the bed sheets had a few marks on them. We stayed in the double room, the bed wasn't the comfiest and there was only one pillow each. Also, my partner is 6'4 so couldn't stretch out because of the panel at the end of the bed. My son (5) slept in the twin beds pushed together and our daughter was in the travel cot that was provided. They both slept absolutely fine. It stated on the ad that there was a BBQ but we never found it. I'm sure if we'd asked for one though, it would have been provided. There was plenty to do within a short distance of the site, our favourite was Morecombe seaside town which the kids loved and was only a 35 minute drive away. We would definitely return back to Pinecroft in the future!

Number 7 The Oaks was beautifully clean and very well equipped.
The living room, kitchen and main bathroom were of a good size. We cooked each day and this worked well. The double bed was very comfortable. We stayed in October and the central heating worked very well and there was also an electric heater in the living room- cosy and warm. The balcony was a great size. A welcoming bottle of fizz and biscuits was a lovely touch. The statics are well spread out and the site itself was very quiet. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful and thereâs masses to do in the area. The staff were very knowledgeable about possible day trips. Things to consider⦠The site is very close to the A65 so if you need total peace and quiet donât book on this site. Quarry lorries come past day and night and they do make a noise-especially at night! There is no information folder at the static. Sykes usually has one with lots of helpful info in (we had to seek help to get the boiler to work).
