  This apartment is very well appointed and comfortable with all modern conveniences. The beds and showers are particularly good and it is very well situated in terms of access to shops, restaurants and the Mumbles Bay front . It is also easy to leave your car in the alloted space and walk or use public transport. A note should perhaps be inserted in the description to warn anyone with mobility problems that the external staircase is quite steep, especially when carrying luggage. Overall, though a very nice place to stay and Mumbles is a lovely place with great cafes, restaurants and shops plus easy access to the Gower beaches

  This place is a home from home.

  It's very warm and welcoming. However, it is an old building so it creaks and groans like most old buildings do. It hasn't been refurbished in a while, but I feel this is part of its charm. The sitting room is very bright and you can really relax in its comfort. You are in the heart of The Mumbles, with Oystermouth Castle a very short walk away. Just a note though, thr bar next door has regular music sessions, and it's quite loud til around 11/11.30 pm, so if you have little ones that need a quiet place to get to sleep this may be a challenge. Very good hosts, helpful but definitely not intrusive.

  The property is listed on your site as having 2 bathrooms , it only has one on the ground floor, the 2 twin bedrooms are up a flight and a half of fairly steep steps, so I would suggest this is added to the description.

  To enter the property is at the rear and again really steep uneven steps up to the gate, then several shallow wider steps up to the entrance door, but then once you go in there is another full staircase that takes you up to the property, I feel the fact that there are so many steps to enter and in the property should be mentioned, as I had my 87 year old mum, who has a very weak heart and a pacemaker and my sister who suffers with asthma that both struggled with so many stairs, they were in the twin rooms which also meant having to go up and down the stairs for the bathroom

  Review by Jessica: Fantastic place to stay.

  Conveniently located for every thing we needed. Upon arrival the apartment was clean and tidy. The bedrooms nice and spacious and a lovely bottle of Prosecco left for us which was a nice touch. There was only one downside, which I must stress this did not affect us as our children are older, but may be something to take into consideration if you have smaller children is the music from the pub next door. It does shut off at 11pm and 10pm on Sundays. Lovely place and lovely people that own it! Thanks for having us.

  We enjoyed our stay at Castle View Appartments - the view of the castle really is good! The property is roomy and comfortable. The location was great, in the heart of Mumbles meaning we could walk to local coffee shops, restaurants and shops and further afield for example along the walking and cycleway to Swansea without having to always use the car. We also used the local buses which were good. The coast and countryside of the Gower are very accessible from the property and well worth exploring.
