  “We had a fabulous long weekend at Bramble Cottage in Sheringham. The cottage is in a fantastic location for all the local attractions and facilities. Shops, pubs, restaurants and the railway are all only a short walk away. There is a lovely park across the road and lots or walking trails, perfect if you have a dog with you. The cottage itself is great, small, but everything you need. The stairs are steep and the steps are narrow. OK to go up, but coming down could be a challenge if you have mobility issues. For this reason, I personally wouldn&#39;t recommend the cottage for small children. Also note that the garden is not immediately accessible from the property, you need to walk across the parking space. Therefore, you cannot just open the door and let the dog out or let children play unattended. The cottage is also on a busy main road. I would also note that there can be problems driving out of the allocated parking space as vans parked along the road can restrict the view, so caution is required coming out onto the main road.<br /> However, none of those things were major issues and we had a great time. ”

  Location is perfect short walk to the sea and a pub and coffee shop Parking for one car but really difficult to access as entrance and walls are extremely narrow The cottage was a great size and mostly clean.

  The carpet in the lounge is terribly filthy and despite several mentions on reviews nothing has been done. The carpet either needs replacing or hard floor to be arranged There is no welcome pack so no milk or starter pack only 1/4 of a toilet roll Crockery is limited 4 of everything when it advertises for 5 and bowls were broken and cups chipped The garden is really good to have but small things like a new gate paint the shed repair the decking. It feels the owner is doing the barest minimum and a small expense for improvement of the things I’ve mentioned and a starter pack would make all the difference

  “Well equipped small holiday let close to town centre. We found the place nicely decorated and modern. The kitchen had plenty of cutlery and crockery - and even a washing machine. It felt like a home away from home. It was well located, close to the town centre but in quiet spot. I would have liked more storage space - but that said the main bedroom had a wardrobe and a large chest of drawers. I found the bed a bit too squashy and there was not a great deal of space to get out for those who sleep on the side nearest the wall, but I coped and we enjoyed our stay.<br /> ”

  We had a very enjoyable stay in Rose Cottage.

  Paul was very welcoming and friendly. He gave us some useful information regarding local walks. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The garden neatly maintained and lovely to sit out in in the evening with a glass of wine. Located conveniently within walking distance from Cromer and East Runton and the beautiful woods opposite were perfect for taking the dog for a walk in. I found it really handy that the cottage was very near to local supermarkets. There was lots that we didn’t have time to do & so would love to revisit Rose Cottage in the future.
